Thoroughly enjoyable stay at chevin . We went to a function and the food was as anticipated... Nothing remarkable but can't beat it for the price. Breakfasts great ! We stayed in room 3 with lots of space, mezzanine with two beds and a double on the floor ... Perfect for my sister and I to take my mum for a break x grounds are beautiful - spa was lovely . Staff very approachable and friendly .. This hotel Is very close to the airport though ...so noise from flights fairly loud x

The 6 course taster menu was stunning in its construction, flavour combinations and presentation. Along wiith the excellent attention to service made dining in the Chevin Park restaurant a most enjoyable experience. We did have a problem with our initial room but the lady on reception quicky and professionally sorted out another beautiful room for us to move into. Would we stay again at the Chevin Park Hotel? Most definitely! We think it sets the standard for other hotels to follow.

Great Hotel. Have used several times, very handy for Leeds Bradford Harrogate all within 20 minutes drive. Accommodation nice in both hotel and lodges. Food fantastic and leisure facilities good. worth a try

Awful experience! 'Rat Pack' consisted of one man singing a bit of everything, 'disco' was three songs at the end and everything was over by 11pm. Uncooked food. Overpriced drinks. Rude manager. Room was attractive but small and had unfinished work i.e. woodwork with screws sticking out. Classic Britain helped where they could - hopefully others hotels will not be so bad!

Package not as advertised only informed 2days prior. Hotel offered wine 2 bottles between 10 people we actually managed to get 3 bottles after haggling. Booking through you site cost more than if we had gone direct. Food was appalling mainly under cooked one person in our party was very ill the next day.

having stayed there before we have always had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. On this occasion we were met with an receptionist who was unable to offer us a smile and was not helpful. The food was good.

The hotel was unique in style, the facilities were excellent. Rooms were lovely and full of character. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately we had room 19 which was super but we had a squeaky panel irritating all night. Heating went off but the hotel staff dealt both problems very well leaving us overall satisfied customers.

We have been to the Chevin several times now and it never disappoints. The location is good for a weekend shopping in Leeds and Harrogate, the service is always good, and the food is excellent. The setting in the country park tops it all off nicely.

Clean comfortable rooms in the hotel.Although some of our party was allocated rooms in the grounds.These rooms were below standard and a long way from the main building especially in the rain.We had booked the tribute night.Dissapointing,the group did not appear untill 10.30.The room was overfull . and one of our party had to get up constantly through out dinner to let waiters and guests pass.Not good enough.

I think on this occasion there were too many people which in turn affected the service.I have now been 3 times and the menu as been the same each time, a little variety would be welcome. other than that the staff were really friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities are good and the rooms are cosy. I really like the venue thats why I keep coming back. The breakfast is wonderful and with just a few adjustments they would be onto a winner.

ON ARRIVAL WE ASKED IF THIS WAS THE BEST ROOM AVAILABLE AND WE WERE TOLD IT WAS FOR THE PRICE WE PAID.OUR ROOM MUST HAVE BEEN THE SMALLEST IN THE HOTEL.THE DOOR ONLY HALF OPENED BECAUSE THE BEDSIDE TABLE WAS IN THE WAY.THE SHOWER WAS RIDICULOUS I HAD TO LIE AGAINST THE WALL TO GET WET,BUT IT WAS ALL CLEAN AND TIDY.
