Was a beautiful hotel and staff are so helpful and friendly will do anything to help. Restaurant was fab great food. But felt with the singer singing in the bar a bit tight for space I mean if you wanted to dance no where to actually dance was my only downfall was this.

Lovely place. Very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff were very welcoming and approachable. Our room was beautiful. Food and drinks were amazing. We'll definitely be back!

This was a lovely overnight stay. The hotel was perfect, staff were so helpful and friendly and the food and drinks were great. The breakfast was one of the best of a buffet style I have had, I would happily stay again purely for the breakfast. 10/10 and hopefully will get to stay again soon.

Lovely hotel, been here a few times. Food as always was excellent, staff always pleasent. Rooms are nice and clean but small as are the bathrooms. Will come back again.

I have stayed here a few times and can’t fault the service the staff are excellent and the rooms are great. The room we were in did have a stain on carpet which was pointed out to the receptionist. The choice of dinner and the breakfast excellent will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend staying here excellent.

Lovely hotel but unfortunately when my partner went for a shower before dinner there were no towels to dry himself. Telephoned hotel reception and main reception repeatedly and got no answer and had to go down. Was then told there were no towels and had to take bath mats for him to get dried before receptionist finally brought towels to the room.put a bit of a damper on what was then a lovely night

We booked last min on the day and so glad we did, the whole place is stunning, and felt even more special with the Christmas decorations and snowy weather. We were made to feel very welcome from every member of staff we encountered and honestly can’t wait to come back. Only small gripe is that there was no wine in room on arrival as noted on voucher and probably my fault I didn’t follow up on this but wasn’t essential

Hotel is lovely. Nice grounds, clean, tasteful modern decor. The Christmas decorations are beautiful. Our room was a connecting one which I’m never keen on unless it’s family through the door. It was a decent size and very clean. Staff we encountered were friendly and polite. We ate on site. It’s a little walk to the restaurant which is welcoming and has a good (if slightly expensive) selection on the menu. Food was nice. Nothing particularly stand out but it arrived hot and in good time. We’d go back for sure except for one big issue…the walls are like paper! You can hear everything through them. Heard conversations from both sides, can hear next door using the toilet and spent all night listening to snoring through the wall so a rubbish nights sleep. Sadly it means a return won’t be on the cards for us.

Had a £99 deal for DBB and a bottle of wine in room.Lovely hotel,lovely staff..well worth a visit, not worth £60 extra for a Saturday stay. Drinks are expensive but would certainly go back.

Lodges are great, but speed bumps needed on the road in front of them, some cars going to and from the other lodges driving a bit too fast. Collected take away food from the restaurant but when we got back to the lodge coleslaw was missing from burger and pouring cream missing from dessert, couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of phoning and going back up to restaurant as food would have gone cold, other than that, very good, won’t put us off going back.

We had a lovely overnight stay recently. A very nice welcome at reception, a lovely spotless and very comfortable room and a fantastic meal (steak pie) it was an x mas present overnight stay with dinner. Set in a nice quiet place with all the gorgeous horses around. All the staff we met could not do enough for us. This is indeed a hidden gem and we will without doubt be back. Breakfast so nice too with lovely a nice welcome. It would be the perfect start to a holiday with the airport not too far away. It was a great choice. We will return.
