On checking in the receptionist wanted to charge my credit card. I tried to explain that I had already paid and she kept insisting that I hadn’t. She eventually got the message but wasn’t very happy at being wrong. She said the room wasn’t ready and she would phone me when it was……off course she never did. On leaving, I was handed a bill to pay. I had to explain again that I had used a gift voucher and the receptionist was meant to have updated this. So, everyone just be aware of this. She stated most people don’t use gift cards. If you do, they will try and charge you again. Apart from The older reception woman, the rest of the staff were lovely and pleasant. The food was ok. Rooms nice.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We do take a pre- authorisation at check in as a safety deposit, and our Receptionist was correct, payment terms were on arrival. Once you explained that you had a voucher when you checked out, we were delighted to put this in place for you. So sorry for the confusion. Moness Reception Team

Initially very disappointed when told on arrival that the steam room and jacuzzi were closed due to refurbishment. But it didn’t dampen our time there one bit. Our room was amazing. As was the massive roll top bath. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and made us feel so welcome. Food and drink was delicious. We had a fantastic break there, and would definitely recommend it.

Lovely weekend away in a cottage, which was very clean and comfortable. Pool needs to be booked, so not always available when we wanted it, but it did mean that the pool was never too busy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Had a lovely stay, only 1 negative we were in room 5 and the floor boards from the room above were incredibly noisy could hear every step

We had a great stay at Moness. When we arrived, we were greeted politely, provided details of our room, deal, etc. Wine was waiting in room, for our arrival. We had pre-booked Dinner for 7pm, and met in the Uisge Bar first, and service was prompt and courteous. At Dinner, the waiting staff were all lovely, but as we sat awaiting starter (30 mins), we noticed other guests, who had arrived after us, were receiving their starters first. We raised this with our waitress, who apologised and chased the starter with the kitchen. Our starter and an apology with forthcoming, as well as a drink for both of us, for the inconvenience / delay. The starter and mains (which came promptly) were lovely, although my chicken breast was a little overcooked/dry, we still both enjoyed our meals and my wife's venison was cooked to perfection. There seems to be a bit of training required for some staff, and this was apparent at breakfast, where, during the time I was there, it took them 20 mins to refill the orange juice, and the milk / break could have done with being topped up too. Overall, we had a great break, super value for money and the rooms and facilities were excellent, so absolutely no hesitation in staying here, in the furture.

On arrival room was ready. On entering room, l could tell room was a little tired and could do with upgrading. The bottom of the beds were frayed. Marks on walls and bathroom poorly lit. As this was my husband’s 50th l had contacted hotel and asked for some chocolates be in the room on arrival. They were not. Reception said they would be soon. When arrived very disappointing, very melted chocolates that you were unable to pick up. We had evening dinner and could not fault the food or front of house staff. Breakfast was also served quickly and friendly front of house staff. Would stay again however would check to see if any upgrading had been done. Great value but not perfect.

Unfortunately only stayed for two nights wish we had more time at Moness Resort Hotel. Warm comfortable room, leasure facilities were very good, food and drinks menu had a great choice. Staff here provided excellent service especially Andrew and Mia who could not do enough for me and my husband. Look forward to staying here for another break.

Great night away. The room was fab, nice bathroom with lovely big bath and separate shower. Dinner was good, huge portions. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too, plenty of choice and great service. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Room was warm and cosy, very spacious in Hotel. Great stay staff were brilliant from Reception to cleaners to waiting staff well mannered. Breakfast plentiful great choice evening meals big portions but menu was a bit limited. Pool was good a tad on the cool side though, but sadly only found out night before arriving that jacuzzi was being renovated. Overall would I return YES and recommend.

We had a lovely room with everything we needed, staff were friendly and helpful, food was of a good standard with a good choice on the menu. Only pool and sauna working at the moment in the spa, but they were fine.

Had a lovely stay here, room was very clean and food was lovely (not sure if was a reduced menu because of time of year as was very limited choice ) . Definitely be back looking at the cottages for a stay . The walks are lovely too

On arrival we were welcome by friendly helpful staff check in was easy and the room allocated was immaculate and had a great view the deal we had was dinner bed and breakfast for two nights and could not fault anything would highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back

just back from a two day stay dbb deal in the hotel. room was nice and large as was the bathroom. dinner and breakfast was good nice and fresh. staf great always helpful and pleasant. will defiantly stay again if we can get same deal.

We had a lovely stay in one of the self catering cottages in Moness Resort. The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the TV and but both were rectified pretty quickly.

Had such a great time here , booked for one night decided to stay for 2. Executive room was fabulous very big, huge bathroom. Pool area lovely but slightly difficult to get into due to booking system buy managed one day of the two. Restaurant had a nice relaxed feel, food was lovely, slightly limited on choice but very fresh. Staff very helpful. Visited Aberfeldy, Dunkeld and Pitlochry during out stay, fabulous way to enjoy our Christmas break.

Rooms weren't ready on arrival but apart from that we had a lovely stay , disappointed that the restaurant is only open at weekends , but the menu in the bar was OK, spa treatments weren't available the days we were there, the pool /sauna etc were great , you only get an hour and it has to be booked in advance . Lovely resort and close to village of Aberfeldy which is worth a visit

Really enjoyed our stay at Moness. This time we stayed in the cottages, the decoration was a bit tired and dated compared to the hotel but it was clean and cosy. The weather was really bad snow so some of the staff were unable to get in to the restaurants but the team who were onsite worked hard so that we still had a great experience.

Great hotel. Lovely spacious room with lovely welcoming staff. We arrived in the middle of a snow storm and the staff were super helpful. Unfortunately due to the snow we weren't able to go out and about in the village but there was plenty to do in the hotel

Excellent short stay. We stayed 2 nights, separate bookings for each night using gift vouchers, phenomenal value for money. The staff we met were very pleasant and efficient. Dinner both nights was good overall, but the rib-eye steak was excellent, very flavoursome and cooked perfectly for me done medium rare. The pool and thermal suite facilities were decent, perhaps in busy periods they might be a small for the size of the resort but perfectly adequate when we were there. We were in room 25 of the hotel, it was a good size with decent hanging and drawer space. The en-suite had both a bath and separate shower. The large towel radiator also served us well for drying wet clothing. The location is good for outdoor pursuits, and for relaxing Aberfeldy even has a modern small cinema. We enjoyed our stay at Moness resort and expect we’ll return.

Stayed in an executive suite room .. was excellent Service was great .. very attentive and helpful .. food was good .. big breakfast great choice .. location was lovely beautiful surroundings and short stroll into Aberfeldy nice little town Would recommend a stay at this resort

The setting for this resort is outstanding, absolutely gorgeous. The staff were amazing and really friendly and attentive, could not fault any of them. The food was fantastic too, really fresh and huge by most hotel standards. Unfortunately the accommodation is badly in need of some tlc. The bedroom was a great size and clean but very grubby. The walls were badly marked, as was the carpet which made the room feel dirty. The chairs in the breakfast dining room were flaking and peeling. Again, this added to the feeling that the resort is need of some maintenance. A lick of paint, new carpet in the bedroom and chair covers would make everything look and feel better.

Main restaurant not opened for evening meal and very restricted menu for bar meals. Becoming very tired looking and could do with refurbishment. Staff very friendly and helpful
