A lovely hotel staff were very nice and obliging and would like name melissa the waitress she was fantastic she was so helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and large, beds were also very comfortable and good provisions for tea and coffee making.

We had a lovely two night break at The Woodlands Hotel staying Friday and Saturday 24/25th March 2023/. The dinner was lovely, we had breaded king prawns to start and then the battered haddock which was so fresh and cooked beautifully' The room was not the most up to date we have stayed in but it was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were all lovely......polite and asking if you were enjoying your stay. None of the staff walked by you without smiling or saying hello which was very nice. Plenty of car parking so no worries there and a nice outside area where you could sit with a drink or coffee and while the time away. We are heading back in late August taking out Son and Daughter in Law with us. They plan to use the Swimming Pool and Spa, which did look very nice. All in all a great weekend break.

Couldn't have asked for me. From the minute we stepped through the front door we were made to feel so welcome, every member of staff we interacted with were absolutely super. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that every member of staff was so friendly. Our room was clean and well equipped, dinner was delicious and breakfast great too. Would definitely stay again

Our 5th visit in last 6 months , fab hotel , short taxi into centre of Broughty ferry (£7) easily walkable in good weather . Hotel staff fab so friendly , super clean , king rooms are fabulous . We have booked the £60 per night every time with a bottle of Prosecco in room deal and it’s unbeatable value .

Hogmanay 2 night break - Absolutely amazing from arrival to departure what more can we say!!!! This hotel deserves full recognition for services provided we could not fault anything at all, its a credit to each and everyone concerned in the day to day running of this little gem, keep up the good work and we will see you again this year.

Fantastic deal for hogmanay. Excellent value for money. Great staff, great food, great new year celebration. Could not fault anything, loved the wee touch of an"oor wullue" annual, shortbreak and gin.liqueur. Would definately recommend this hotel

This is the second time we have stayed here in the last four months. Both times we have been impressed by the food and the staff especially in the restaurant. The hotel is very welcoming and makes us feel very relaxed .

Beautiful Hotel. Spacious and spotless rooms. Staff helpful and friendly. Only criticism is personally we would have preferred our breakfast brought to the table rather than buffet style. Also the car park could have been gritted better.

Lovely hotel with decent pool and spa facilities. Steaming room was amazing. The food was delicious. The room was spacious just maybe need a bit more light or stronger bulbs. We would definitely be back, as whole family had a great relaxing time. My suggestion- don't park under the tree (I never seen so many bird poo on one car ?)

nice big comfy king size bed. lovely decorated and clean room. nice walk-in shower. not a fan of scan and check yourself in but only took a few minutes. we had dinner in the hotel. dining room was full, but we got served quickly. staff very good and what a change to see plenty of them not the usual understaffed as other hotels are. food was really good and cooked to perfection. will defiantly be back.

2nd stay in the last few weeks , fab hotel , really nice staff who are very efficient . Had a drink in bar before getting reception to call us a taxi into Broughty Ferry , was raining so didn’t fancy the 20 min walk into town . Had a drink in bar on returning and had a great laugh with a couple we were invited to sit beside as there were no spare seats . Will return in January as we like the hotel and enjoy going out in Broughty Ferry
