We had a great overnight stay, the hotel is beautiful and my room had water view, the bedroom was very spacious and recently upgraded, my bed was so comfy and I had a proper duvet that was thicker than normal hotel ones I normally use the shower but had to try the large jacuzzi style bath this just added to the stay ad it was great. the staff were so welcoming and professional. The restaurant and food was fab.

As a couple we thoroughly enjoyed our break away. Staff and accomodation and food were all great. We paid a little extra to have Seaview Deluxe room and it was so worth it. There were only a few tiny problems, one of which was neighbours who were really very noisy till late in the evening. By 11.30pm we let hotel staff know and it was discreetly dealt with. At breakfast the plates could have been heated as this would have kept the cooked breakfast warm. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food including plenty of fresh fruit. Also at breakfast mugs were used. If I had a choice I'd rather have cups, saucers. With saucers you've also somewhere to put your spoon. These were very small issues and it didn't spoil our trip away.

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay aerside Hotel in a beautifully appointed room in the new wing. The walk-in shower was amazing and so refreshing. Views are lovely with the pretty beach and Isle of Arran in the distance. Dinner was delicious and service in the restaurant good. Breakfast was not the tastiest and perhaps some more variety would make some difference. Definitely recommend a visit to the Waterside Hotel in scenic Seamill.

Nice hotel. Room was brand new & very nice. Looked right across the sea. Everything we needed. TV was a bit complicated but that might just be me. Dinner was nice although I felt the menu was a bit restrictive. Breakfast was the usual buffet & VERY busy. There had been a wedding the day before. The quality of the sausages could have been much better & the food was very cool & plates cold. All in, we enjoyed our over night stay. We both felt this hotel was probably more geared for Weddings than taking other visitors. We probably won’t go again.

Lovely hotel, beautiful rooms. Weird long layout to rooms but worth the view. The manager seemed to turn alot of people away without bookings at dinner, the restaurant was nowhere near full in the main bar area, didn't see through to the double tiered area but the other tables did not fill the whole time we sat for food and drinks. Felt bad for the hopeful diners. The food was lovely but disappointed with the condensed menu choices. Didn't attend spa but this wasnt asked if we would like to get booked in. Providing bathrobes would be great addition to the rooms.

We have been to the hotel a few times & this visit did not disappoint. I do find the cost of food has increased but is the same most places. Having said that food & drinks were both good. There was a wedding on during our visit which didn’t impact our stay too much. However you could hear the music from the function room in our bedroom which was much louder than expected. Not sure what they can do about that. We did have an issue with the channels on the tv but the manager came up to our room & resolved the problem.

Had a very pleasant stay. Our room was really nice and the staff very friendly. I know they are doing up the restaurant and bar area so it will be interesting to see the end result as it would be beneficial to have a nicer bar area where one could sit before and after a meal.

Been to the Waterside a few times and loved it. This time we stayed in a brand new room with a patio and it was absolutely gorgeous. The bathroom was beautiful and very spacious. The food was fantastic with loads on the menu to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful. Looking forward to the new spa opening so we will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel food let them down. Haggis bonbon were cold breakfast was also cold .Cold plates and asked for fried eggs came all snotty.

Lovely hotel, beautiful setting, as we were b&b breakfast was good but food too expensive to eat in for dinner. Room was lovely but bed was awful, mattress topper was full of lumps, mattress was just as bad, never slept for two nights. Reported to staff on first night who offered another duvet to lie on. Emailed complaint to hotel management

My friend was visiting from Australia and we booked an overnight to have a relaxing catch up .. From the minute we checked in everything was perfect ..the staff so friendly and helpful..the room was amazing we had the perfect beach view . The tails & food ..well ..perfect perfect perfect is all I can say. I will definitely be back to enjoy this lovely relaxing place with other friends & family ..10 out of 10
