We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Cardrona, Peebles. Some minor difficulty with booking restaurant for dinner but this was resolved in situ. Suggest one offer per provider is promoted at any time. This would allow all clients to benefit from all the amenities and facilities without feeling "busy and overbooked" at hotel. We would visit again.

I feel that the drinks are far too expensive. It deters one from drinking in their bar.

Not the cleanest hotel. Dirty glasses on several occasions. Food good after many mix ups. Mens changing room and gym being repaired when we were there without any notice. Would have thought this would have happened on different days so men still had access to swimming pool. Couldn't ask the manager why this was being done on same day as he was to busy to deal with guest's problems.

Great value for money break. The hotel was lovely. Our room was nice and very spacious. The food was great and the service was good. Only downfall was no Sauna/Jaccuzi in health suite.

Bedroom was very clean and comfortable, plenty of room as had been requested as we had our Labrador with us. Food was very well presented and tasty - the only slight let-down was ordering a glass of recommended port with the cheese board which then arrived almost as my husband was finishing off! I might add it wasn't a problem to return this when it was eventually brought to the table. All in all extremely good value for money but a word of advice if you wish to avail of the spa treatments - book as far in advance as possible as we were unlucky even with almost 4 weeks advance hotel booking which was a pity.

The sofas in the lounge area were very tatty the brown ones by the window had afoul smell also the plastic coating has begun to come off all the chairs in the dining room making it look cheap and nasty

First time staying at Cardrona. We have stayed at Ardoe House in Aberdeen. We were very impressed by the service, staff efficiency and the food was excellent. It was an added bonus that we could bring the dog. Will certainly be returning to Cardrona. Only downside was I could not open windows in room 303, but did not see this as a major fault.

Nice hotel staff friend. Tho was 20 minutes wait For 2 coffees on a Monday night. Staff member said They where short staffed,the gentleman did give me a Free coffee for my long wait. Lovely size room with Excellant shower overall enjoyed my 2 night stay.

We booked a disabled room which had suitable equipment in bathroom also easy access to the leisure facilities. Staff we're very helpful in the dining room. A lovely break and will use Classic Britain again

We were upgraded to a superior room with a view over the golf course and the hills. It was spotless and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were friendly and the service good. The food was excellent. The swimming pool was WARM!

Ex food and service.The staff could not have been more pleasant.We checked in before 3 o clock. The spa treatment was also ex. 6 of us really enjoyed our stay. Would go back again.

Lovely visit but we were only upgraded to 'best available room' when I enquired with reception as to how it works. I noticed from the guest list in the dining room (a sneaky peek) that all guests from 'Classic Britain' were allocated odd numbered rooms which do not have the golf course views and are smaller rooms. So how does 'best available' work. We checked in very early. Also food very good but a bit sparse and a very limited menu. Staff excellent.

Accommodation and food at dinner/breakfast was of a very good standard and satisfying. Leisure facilities was over subscribed with large numbers of children so did not use.

Enjoyed a lovely overnight stay in an extremely comfortable large room (more like a jnr suite). Staff all very pleasant and attentive during our visit and restaurant food most enjoyable.
