Very friendly and helpful staff, from the girl on the desk helping me as I'd booked 2 singles instead of a double to the bar manager who was so helpful and chatty organising my tails. Room was lovely and clean and very spacious. The food in the restaurant was delicious both for our evening meal and breakfast xx

Hotel lounge and dining area was stunning and food delicious, all good from that perspective. Unfortunately it did make the rooms seem a bit dated but clean and basic. Could do with sound proofing as we did not have a great sleep

The staff are wonderful, the hotel is stunning. Everything from when we first entered to the time we departed was perfect. The houses around may not be the best view, but that does not spoil the loveliness of the hotel. Recommend to all.

Excellent Food , Location and Service. Situated just off the A78 its an ideal location for touring the Ayrshire coast and visiting the nearby town of Irvine. Stayed here several times

Had a great weekend at Riverside lodge this was our 3rd visit. The food is great . Service very good. However the rooms on top floor in need of upgrading. There were 8 of us and our friend ias in a wheelchair. His room on the ground floor was refurbished and lovely. Ours on the top floor was very tired. But we had a great time again despite the state of the rooms. The public areas are lovely and newly refurbished.

This hotel is is absolutely stunning , reception area, bar area and restaurant are so welcoming very comfy seating area too. Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean but abit dated and lighting not so good in rooms however what fantastic showers very powerful. Excellent food.

We had a great 2 night break at the Riverside Lodge in an upgraded garden view room which was very spacious ,& comfortable food in the restaurant & bar was fantastic as were the staff at breakfast & dinner would highly recommend can't wait to return

Second stay in a month and certainly not disappointed again. Staff are polite, efficient and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food was great again. Lovely hotel and cannot fault our stays thank you.

Last minute night away, was well impressed with room.. food was excellent !!!! Christine at reception was so helpful as were Ellie and Mary, staff were all very helpful… Will be back as soon as we can, but two nights next time ???

Rooms were clean and tidy and had everything you need, in need of modernisation in fitting with the hotel. The reception, bar and restaurant areas are stunning very modern and light with an extra touch of the fish pond. Drinks were great and reasonably priced for a hotel. As for the food wow wow wow so tasty we ate both nights of our stay and had only planned on eating there the first night. Each course was as good as the last. Breakfast was equally as tasty and left you set up for the day. Lastly the staff I want to thank them very much especially the breakfast staff, I never realised how much hard work it was until I watched them scurry about after everyone, covid restrictions meant that you were unable to get anything for yourself. Thanks again Riversie Hotel I most definitely will return in the future.

Had a fantastic stay on a two night weekend break. Staff are great, really helpful. Dinner was excellent on our first night. Breakfast was very good. Decor in the open areas makes for a relaxed atmosphere with great seating. Less than a mile from town centre. Great deal.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Riverside hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel reception and restaurant were lovely and food was very good, rooms were really clean but could be doing with some modernisation, over all we had a great night and plan on returning soon

Our bottle of wine on arrival didnt arrive at our room. Breakfast was a disaster wrong orders were arriving at more than one table cold scrambled eggs at another our orders were totally wrong waitress took it away her attitude was terrible brought it back with chitty said thats your order and sat plate back down. Also told us when you come in at this time food runs out. We were already waiting 40mins. We arrived at breakfast at 9-30/40. The manager came and was very apologetic . Could do with more staff in the restaurant All other staff were lovely. Hotel manager was to call me which they didn't do.

Another excellent visit to this hotel. The food both in the evening and breakfast was excellent. Reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff were first class. Special mention to the two male waiters at breakfast who were extremely pleasant and helpful. We will be visiting again for a short break.

What can I say a 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost we could not fault any member of staff we dealt with and the room given was a twin room and the beds were bigger than normal so it was heaven. The meal on first night was fantastic and in with the price we paid for our two night stay. It was that nice we dined at the hotel the following night and it was just as good and worth the money. Breakfast was amazing and due to COVID the staff get your coffee, toast and continental for you and bring it to your table along with full cooked breakfast of course. If you have a chance try this hotel out you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

first impression's as you walk in really lovely. we were on a Dbb deal best available room. we got rm 116 opened the door room stinkin of cigarettes with window opened. on going into bathroom large rusted mark on bath size of gulf ball. went back to reception got another room much better two large double beds large bathroom. then 9.50pm all the electricity went out in our room another trip to reception. dinner we knew it would be a different menu to usual one. we could pick starter and main. starter ok. then main we wanted steak pie and fish both none left. ended up picking chicken and a burger was ok. after we finished table opposite there dinner arrives both fish and chips must have caught them in the fish pond lol or they were paying full price not on Dbb deal. nice bar and restaurant good pleasant staff. probably not use again. cos of dinner.
