Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was good but service was slightly slow-understandable though as it was a Saturday. Bedroom was modern, clean and very nice. Would go back in a heartbeat!

I would like to point out to you as I did with the owner. When we arrived at this hotel there were alterations being made to the building ans were we told that this would affect us. However after our evening meal in the resturtant tables were made into the foyer and for the rest of our stay meals were served there. This I find not very good as we were eating while guest were booking in and out and once your meal was finished there were no real relaxation area for you to use. This I discussed with the Operations Manager and the owner who confirm he felt he could not have put a warning about these works has it may have affected books for weddings and other events at the hotel. My point is however I would liked to have been aware of the work so I could have made a decision to stay there or not rather than be faced with the events we were left with. I have been offered a fee B&B stay once the work have been complete so we can see the new hotel later this year but I feel the owner has missed our point over this matter.

Lovely dining area, pity all the fab double booths were allocated to the solo males dining at the same time as us. All of the waitresses very attentive but Andrew who was in charge that evening never smiled once and was not customer friendly at all.

Stayed at the Shwalands Park over the weekend of 8-10 February. The accommodation has been upgraded since last stay and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We only had breakfast - Saturady was very good but reverted to buffet style of the Sunday which was only average. Overall a good experience.

Hotel was lovely, very plush looking the rooms were nice but kept banging our legs off of the frames of bed.The sound proof between rooms was very poor we could here what next door were saying to each other!We went for a tribute night but she wasnt that good.The food was pretty poor too but there were a lot of people to serve.Veg was rock hard !We did enjoy our night and breakfast was ok but for 52.50 for it all cant really complain.
