Had a fabulous stay at the Ardoe House, used the spa and the pool ,had dinner and breakfast can not fault a thing. The only slight niggle was the sound proofing from the corridor was poor and a 'lively' group were very noisy around 2am which disturbed us.Not much the hotel can do about that I suppose .

Stayed at this hotel on saturday night and would highly recommend it was beautiful, the room was a privilege room and it was lovely nice and roomy lovely decor, huge bed and very comfortable the best nights sleep i have had for a long time, very quiet room on the first floor quite a walk to the main building but worth it,would highly recommend booking Blairs restaurant before you stay as it was very busy and well worth making that reservation the food is excellent, breakfast is self service great quality and plenty choices, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming all members of staff we met all greeted with a smile and hello,we didnt use the spa facility so cannot comment on that, really loved it and cant wait to go back.

Fantastic deal, thoroughly enjoyed it & will definitely be making a return journey. We used the gym & Spa in the afternoon then had a relaxing dinner in the evenng. The food was delicious (especially the lemon meringue pie we both chose for dessert) but we were disappointed to be seated in the function room across from the Blairs Restaurant which didn’t have the same cozy ambience as Blairs itself. The staff were very friendly & polite but service for dinner was pretty slow. We didn’t mind this too much, though, as it gave us time to chat & relax between courses. Our room was lovely, modern & spacious with a big walk in shower and breakfast was top notch too.

Spent 2 nights here found all the staff throughout the hotel very pleasant and friendly, our room 212 was a very spacious room with a nice comfy bed also had a fridge in the room which wasn't advertised on the site so a nice little bonus and also had a great walkin shower, the breakfast was very nice with none of the hot food being greasy but our dinner both nights was outstanding, aparantly a new chef was hired not that long ago so hats off to him.

Have stayed at Ardoe House several times. From the moment you check in till you check out nothing is too much trouble. The deal of £59 of bed breakfast, evening meal, bottle of wine and 20%of spa treatments is exceptional. The rooms are lovely and the beds are so confortable. The food is first class with plenty of choice for dinner and also for breakfast. The spa is lovely and there is a great selection of treatments all very relaxing. Would recommend a visit you won't be disappointed and I'll definately be back

Excellent stay lovely staff and great food it was our 30th Wedding anniversary and a little card and home made tablet was left for us with a lovely message. Three staff I would like mention who made our stay even more special was the lovely Carman at breakfast nothing was to much for her she was very pleasant, cheerful and went above and beyond excellent service from Carman an asset to your hotel, also Ryan the waiter at evening meal made us very welcoming great service and very cheerful it was a pleasant to be served by Ryan and took everything we talked about in consideration, and the last member of staff was barman Alireza very lovely man and very clever he made our last night very memorable and was a pleasure meeting him. All theee of those staff make you want to come back to your hotel, this was our second time staying with yourselves and we will definately be back especially with great staff that you have. Thank You all three of you. The only problem we did have was the cleaner in our room used my iPhone charger to charge his phone and left it in our room and had to knock our door to get it back with no apology for doing this I didn’t mind him using my charger but an apology would have been nice as we were confused when his phone was ringing in our room when both me and my husband had our own phones, also he left no toilet roll for us and only one set of towels which my husband had to go and get both he didn’t clean the bathroom left all the papers we had used from the toiletries lying on the shelf a few other little things but none of this would stop us from returning we did say all this to Ryan and he was so apologetic to us but we told him don’t worry you don’t have to apologise on his behalf but he did again and again which was so lovely. This was our only little problem that’s why I have only given room an 8 or it would have been a 10, everything else was lovely.

Beautiful Hotel, in lovely grounds. Room was spacious and well furnished. Food was great. Only a couple of things. The check in was easy, but the receptionist was not very friendly. Efficient, but not welcoming. It makes a difference. The check out receptionist was lovely. We asked for an Irish Coffee and a French Coffee. the bar staff obviously did not know how to make this (or made a mistake) The Irish Coffee was all mixed through, and the French Coffee did not have Brandy in it. Not sure what was in it - a liquer I think. Both cold. Aart from that a great stay.

We paid a supplement for a privilege room and were very pleased with the accommodation and facil. Unfortunately the evening meal menu was rather disappointing and limited and was the same on the both nights we stayed. Some variety each evening would have been welcomed. On the first evening we both enjoyed our choices of courses. However on the second evening we both chose the starter course of smoked mackerel pate, which I found excellent on the first night but we were both disappointed with it on the second night being covered with a very dry crumb. My wife recommended to me her main course from the first evening (chicken dish) but again this was very disappointing on the second evening. If they are to be continuing to serve the same menu on consecutive evenings then the meals should be of a consistent high quality. Our disappointment was expressed to our waiter who said he would pass on our comments to the kitchen. We heard nothing further.

2nd visit and if anything more impressed. Only slight concern was (occasional) need to find member of staff to serve in the bar during the afternoon.

Hotel was lovely and seeing was glorious. Reception was let down by staff not speaking very good English, very difficult to understand what they were saying. Disappointed with breakfast, had to ask for brown bread both mornings we were there and the choice of fresh fruit was limited on the second morning.

Spa facil do not reflect the quality of the hotel itself. When you stay at such a beautiful hotel you automatically have higher expectations for spa especially as it's advertised as spa hotel. We ve been a bit disappointed.

Hotel is exactly as shown on the website, spacious and clean room, very helpful and friendly staff, quality of food very good, grounds well maintained, very pleasant to walk. However two areas could be addressed. The menu choice whilst good is quite limited eg only 6/7 choices in each course - including vegetarian - so, allowing for different tastes, if staying for more than three nights your choice is not great but as already stated quality and presentation is very good. Our other concern could be due to kitchen capacity. It's quite a large hotel with a number of function rooms and when they are all in use it appears to put a strain on the kitchen. Eg On our last night we waited almost 40 mins after consuming our first course until the main course arrived. Having said that would we return - yes we would!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ardoe House Hotel, I never knew about this hotel previously until I saw it advertised on Facebook ! We travelled to Aberdeen by train from the Borders, where we live, and it was a short journey of around 15 minutes from the city centre, by taxi. You can reach the hotel by bus but it takes around 40 minutes journey time. Ardoe House had everything we needed, Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the waiting staff, and the food was really excellent as we were on dinner, b&b package. A lovely situation with lovely grounds and views of surrounding countryside.

This was our second visit in a month and we were a bit surprised that the evening menu was exactly the same. The duvet cover was very crushed and split at one side.

We found Ardoe House to be an excellent hotel which has obviously been totally refurbished. The bedroom was very modern with a lovely bathroom and large shower, which was very easy to operate! We had a very good breakfast each morning and our evening meals were also very good. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation, it's in a lovely position in South Deeside with easy access to Aberdeen.
