Good welcome from reception. The hotel was very clean and tidy as well as warm throughout. Meal was lovely and bar prices were very reasonable with a good selection available. Been a few times to hotel and never dissapoints from its fantastic location to friendly attentive staff. All ready looking forward to returning soon.

Staff were really friendly and helpful food was first class. The hotel was looking a bit dated and could have done with a freshen up however the cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted.Looking to go back soon.

What a lovely old hotel and great price. Our Room was a little small but clean and tidy but the view from our window made up for the room size it was stunning. Food was great our offer gave us 2 courses in price and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and prices at bar was also reasonable. If you are not a dog lover this hotel might not be for you as guests can take their dog down with them for a meal so restaurant was full of dogs but must admit they were all well behaved. We don’t have a dog ourselves and this was not an issue for us but some people might not like this so just thought I would mention it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were allocated an annexe room which was not suitable as it had no blind at bathroom window which meant people could see you when using the toilet or shower. The bathroom walls were heavily stained and the whole room absolutely stunk of sewage/dirty drain. We asked to be moved and were given a room in main hotel which was ok. The bed had a burst spring which stuck into you so I ended up sleeping on top of a pillow. The tv only had signal for BBC 1 and no wifi available. Overall we had an ok stay but would not revisit in future. On plus side the food was excellent

Lovely hotel with very special staff who all make you feel very welcome the food and great both at dinner and breakfast gave the room seven as the bed was on the small side even though advertised as a double the quilt was very heavy the room and bathroom very very clean and in nice condition will definitely be back but will probably book a room with a kingsize bed

Delightful stay at Killin Hotel. Food excellent and very courteous staff - we actually booked another night. Weather was, as expected, very cold at this time of year, none-the-less my wife and I did a beautiful walk around the 2-1/2 mile Auchmore Circuit starting near the Dochart Falls. Some might find the hotel a little tired, but we felt that the hotel was making a great effort to improve the hotel. Only negative was that it took about 10 minutes for the to come through for the shower, but this was advised in the room doentation - made little difference to us and certainly did not spoil our stay. We would recommend this lovely hotel which is full of character and even has a log fire in the bar lounge. My son and partner has booked for a break in December - sure they will not be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at Killin, so much so we extended our stay. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. Light in the bathroom was very dull, not sure if this was normal or needed a replacement bulb. Food was good both in restaurant and at breakfast. One of the female staff in the bar/restaurant went the extra mile to be helpful and was extreme nice. unfortunately she did not wear a name badge so don’t know who she is but she was definitely one of the reasons that we decided to stay an extra night. We would not hesitate to return to Killin Hotel.

Brilliant chilled out break at the Killin Hotel! Four poster bed extremely comfortable - we both slept really well. Fabulous food and, without exception, very friendly and helpful staff. Birthday card in room was a really thoughtful touch - thank you! We will be back soon!

We had a lovely stay, the hotel was cosy, Warm and welcoming. Good value for money as we booked a DBB deal. Breakfast was lovely and dinner exceeded expectations. The fish and chips was lovely. The rooms were clean and warm. Smallish room but that never took anything away from enjoying our stay.

This was our second time staying at the Killin Hotel. We had friends with us this time from England who had never been to Scotland and we booked it because we had just a lovely time when we stayed before. They also loved it and especially our rooms which had four poster beds! I would recommend staying here to anyone. We were staying on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very welcoming. The food was excellent also.

Hotel very tired. Decor and furnishings badly in need of an upgrade. No plug for shaver and too dark for safety razor. Lift is so old it shouldn't be in use. Very long wait for in shower. Service and food very good. Locale excellent.

Excellent base for touring the area. The hotel is situated on the banks of the river with a large conservatory leading on to a grass patio area with tables and parasols. Picture perfect. With loads of tartan covers throughout the hotel has the required Scottish feel. Our room was very good and adequate for what we paid (got a deal), food was homely with good sized portions, staff were polite, courteous and keen to assist. Also, there is plenty free parking. All in all a very good couple of nights in a fine hotel which I would recommend if planning to stay in the area.

This was our first time staying at the Killin Hotel and we were not disappointed. We were only there for one night but wished it was longer. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Our overnight stay included dinner which was lovely. Every member of staff that we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is in a lovely setting by the river, of which we had a fantastic view. The only downside was the room (41) and bathroom were very small - the bedroom not having enough space for a wardrobe!! The servie and food was excellent and would definitely stay here again.
