Stayed for two nights B&B, staff excellent friendly and welcoming. Leisure facilities very good. Dined in the restaurant both nights and food was to a good quality and reasonably priced. Could not fault our stay

We received a warm welcome. The room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. Plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner and always served promptly. The pool and leisure centre was 1st class. We will definitely recommend to friends.

Overall enjoyable stay. Excellent food and very pleasant staff. If you want an early meal book before you arrive to ensure you get the meal- time that you want. Our bedroom (for which we had paid the upgrading supplement) was in the newer part, while there was no complaints about the bedroom itself, it was cold.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I downloaded details of how to get there from your website and feel that the info should be updated,particularly the last stages, which took us to a dead end.I also feel that more info should be available at the hotel about the area, which was sadly lacking.

Enjoyed our stay at Balgeddie House Hotel this week, although we were surprised to be in the Garden Room, however, the room was large, warm and light with a HUGE bed. Used the pool each day and this was very clean and uncrowded - a great asset to the hotel. All staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. The dining room was pleasant with lovely views of the garden. The food was well priced with good portions.

Very uncomfortable mattress, glad to get home for a good nights sleep. Overall good stay but whole place lacked a little finesse. Staff are hardworking and try their best but some training would add that polish required. Some very minor changes to the set up in the hotel would go a long way too.

We hade a lovely stay at hotel , we gave a 7 for room the room was really nice a deluxe room which was new and very clean and spacious but the only downfall was that the walls were paper thin , we gave 7 for service as we asked for papers each morning we didn't get them but overall service was good & food was really nice and lots of it, the situation of hotel was strange as it was in a housing estate not much to do round about for a vey quiet holiday this would be great but overall we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the spa.

Both my wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. Staff were all very pleasant and attentive even with a wedding in full swing, food was great and plentiful. Didn't use the leisure facilities on this occassion as the weather was to good to be indoors. Would return again and maybe make use of the leisure facilities. Only minor issue, our room was next to the lift.

Great value for money short break, hotel location fine for touring Fife. Friendly, pleasant & helpful staff. Our room was in the original hotel building. Lovely leisure facilities, kids would love the pool. Food was of excellent quality and always piping hot, full breakfast a fantastic start to the day, dinner menu had plenty of choice and good sized portions. Weather was very humid, found bedroom warm, however fans available from reception if required. Only gripe - inconsiderate fellow guests letting the heavy wooden doors slam shut late at night & early morning (not the hotels fault!) Would be more than happy to stay here again if in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Balgeddie House Hotel in Glenrothes. Beautiful setting. Everyone very friendly, room was lovely and clean, food OK. Only criticism would be the poor flow of water from the shower in the bathroom, although I appreciate that the hotel prides itself on its green credentials.
