great hotel and great value for money as long its a deal would not pay £139 per night swimming pool and gym area first class all and all we had a great stay

Cleanliness in hotel was really good, the furniture in rooms would benefit a refurbishment. Dinning Staff were really nice and service was great. The evening dinners was really nicely presented and food was lovely. I wasn't too keen on the hot breakfast as the haggis and potato scone were very dry.

first night ordered honey chicken starter got pork the menu said thin fries with main they don"t serve this and you only find out when meal arrives staff were good not there fault someone in management has to sort this out room 29 is not big enough for a double this is not a cheep hotel i think i overpaid for what i got [i use a lot of hotels] wont be back

Had a lovely stay. Staff were very nice and professional. The room was very spacious and decorated well. No complaints at all. Meals were very nice and service excellent. We have stayed before and will not look for anywhere else as the Cairndale exactly suits our needs. A big thanks to all the staff.

Amazing few days away at the cairndale hotel, all staff were very friendly, food was amazing would even say best food we.ve had in a hotel break, room was spacious and clean , bathroom was lovely with an extra suprise with jacuzzi bath and built in TV , overall a great hotel and definitely worth a visit

Very friendly staff. Room very small with little hanging space. Food was very good. Although hotel was quiet, 'Best Available Room' was not offered.

Great hotel, except for one thing, the creaking floor boards drove us mad, and it was to all rooms where we were. Old hotel so should expect some creaking...We had a warm welcome, room was much larger than we expected. Food menu was not big but the food was excellent, all staff were happy, friendly and spoke when walking past, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back again for sure despite the creaking floor boards...:)

Room a bit dated but was clean and adequate for our stay. No upgrade to better room available during our stay. Leisure facilities were good. Food was reasonable as was breakfast. Plates on the small side. Got £28 bill at end of stay for 1pint of lager, 1 bottle of house red wine and 1 soda water and blackcurrent. (Didn’t quite add up to prices on menu). There was no exact price breakdown on final bill. Not sure why there was a couple of room posting £2 when never used room service. Obviously better settling bills with cash on the night. Heating does not come on till 6pm each night so the older room was cold but heated up by 8 at night. Staff were friendly and helpful and the service was excellent and this made up for the small things. I would recommend this hotel

We had a lovely 2 night stay with dinner, bed and breakfast. There are areas that could be improved but overall it was a great hotel. Very good value for money. The bedroom was extremely hot and could not switch heating off. Leisure facilities and pool were very clean.

Had a lovely 2 day break. The food was good & the staff friendly & helpful. Enjoyed full use off the free leisure facilities. Ate from the a la carte menu & even had a starter as my main course but a bigger portion thanks 2 the suggestion from 1 of the staff, thanks!

This was our 3rd visit to the Cairndale, This time we were given a superior room which was really nice and larger than others. The meals are always very good although the first night was really busy and the choice for me wasn't as good. Would definitely recommend!

Had a fantastic two nights with my fiance at the Cairndale. Staff were very attentive and meals were excellent. My fiance made uae of the leisure facilities while i enjoyed the forum cafe coffee. Will definitely be back.

I have now stayed in 5 different hotels booked via myhotelbreak,com. Every hotel has been perfect and can't believe how cheap all your offers are. I never thought the Marine Hotel in Troon could be beat until i stayed here. The room was huge, breakfast and dinner delicious and the spa so relaxing. Will be back asap!

A very good hotel experience. The staff make this hotel from the excellent reception to the waiting staff, chef and his brigade, and the demeanour o with whom we came in contact. Our room was some distance and up a lot of stairs. I am aware that I could have asked for a change and probably have obtained one but the room, itself, was very large with an enormous bathroom. The only problem was it was a little bit lacking in natural light but, apart from that it was of a good standard with table two chairs and ample storage space. Certainly far more spacious than more modern hotels. The breakfast was as good as I have experienced in many similar hotels - the fruit salad was fresh, not tinned. Dinners were of a relatively high standard. The Cairndale is an excellent hotel for the price range. But the key to its continuing success must be the quality of its staff. A most enjoyable stay

Great weekend break. Lovely 4 course dinner and then entertainment from The Swing Kings. Great band who catered for everyones taste. Good choice for breakfast with good service.
