Excellent value, good service and food, but let down by a below average breakfast. Very unusual to have tea and coffee served by extremly busy waitress staff on demand - the usual pot of your choice, served to your table, is much more convenient.

Main area of the hotel are clean and modern. Our room was functional but needed updating. That said it was clean and tidy. The hotel was busy so good service was a little slow. In general the dinner was very good as was breakfast. The hotel is out with the town centre area but is easy enough to get to. Overall it was excellent value.

Fabulous hotel staff very friendly and attentive, food was amazing too. What a great deal we even got a free upgrade. The bottle of wine was a bonus and free. Have been a few times and the hotel has been refurbished beautiful will defo return.

Not a great experience this visit !! I have been to this hotel on a few occasions with no problems but on this occasion i was burned on my fingers by my food plate which was given to me by a member of the management may i add without any warning the plate was hot !! This was after i sent back my steak which was so tough and un edible! I did get an accident report and the overall manager came and re did this and gave us the 2 drinks we had on the house and never even ate the food !! I never seen or heard from her again throughout my stay to even ask how my burn was not very professionally in my eyes so not a very good experience all in all !!

We paid extra for a double / double room and it was really good with patio doors overlooking a landscaped area. The hotel has a nice restaurant and the food and service were excellent, would recommend a stay at this Hotel.

Very modern interior in bar and restaurant. Staff couldn't do enough for us, food was excellent. Bedroom could do with a freshen up but very comfortable. Overall great value for money.

Lovely Foyer,restaurant and bar food was very good and staff very friendly. Room was a bit dated especially the bathroom and shower, and room door had to be banged shut every time. Would be ok for one or two nights but no longer.

Entrance is beautiful room we had not so much. Needing alot of tlc. We had bed breakfast and bottle of wine in room deal and when we arrived in our room bottle of wine had been opened ( not by us), reception did change it and apologised. Dinner was lovely but breakfast was 1 of worst I've had in a hotel. tails were lovely but unfortunately weren't served in a tail glass but in a pint glass which for a lady wasn't a nice effect. Overall some work needing done to make hotel up to scratch

Hi stayed at the weekend there. Hotel was gorgeous downstairs. Staff were very attentive and polite and helpful. Our room was a bit dated, clean enough but could do with an upgrade. We were on the second floor. Was surprised when we went for breakfast on the Sunday morning to find there was no eggs left ! Apart from that everything else was lovely

Enjoyed our stay, room was spotless, beds very comfortable, bathroom very dated though. All staff were great, very friendly. Dinner was lovely but breakfast was a let down. On par with a Premier Inn breakfast. Great we could take dogs, however we noticed there were no bins on hotel grounds, meaning if dog did toilet, we had nowhere to put it, so had to take back to our room. We would definitely return

This was my second stay at this Hotel. I went back because my first visit (May 2021) was excellent, lovely Hotel, clean, friendly staff, food is excellent. On the second visit (July 2021) my experience was not so good. The problem we experienced was poor service from staff. We went outside to sit in the garden seating area, the tables were littered with empty glasses - we waited 40 minutes to get someone to come and take our drink order. The table was cleared but not cleaned. Same issue in evening at dinner, waited ages to get drinks and place our order for food. At breakfast we were left waiting 30 minutes until I went to find the Manager. She took our order but when the food arrived, it was not what we ordered. There appeared to be plenty of staff, but not organised at all when it came to looking after guests. I did complain in the morning to the Manager in the restaurant area. I would reitrerate that my first experience was a good one.

Hotel was lovely and our room was big and plenty of space , we had our dog with us and he stayed in the room also he was aloud in the lounge. The food was OK but the service was poor not enough staff.

entering the hotel the friendly atmosphere was a Felt. Staff were so attentive and friendly. Rooms comfortably decorated with lovely soft towels in the bathroom. food was very tasty with a great menu to choose from. Only one thing they could improve on is having someone in charge of the dining room to give the younger staff some guideance.

Checked in easy, staff were great and food was excellent. Walking into the room was like walking into a sauna, 25 degrees outside and no window left open when it was cleaned. The room was so warm by that point the fan in the wardrobe did nothing but push hot air around, also booked a double room and was given a twin but just pushed the beds together ourselves.

The room had not been cleaned properly carpet had small c.umps of short hair one of the plastic tumblers in the bathroom was not wrapped and had stains of toothpaste all down the inside we threw it in the bin when we went for dinner we were forgotten about we waited1 and a half hours for our main course when mine came the meatballs were cold I complained and asked for the manager who apologised but we will not return to this hotel abain

This hotel is certainly 4 star. Beautiful hotel, we had two kingsize beds in our room. Could not fault it at all, lovely food and excellent service. Area for sitting relaxing was very tastefully decorated. Will certainly be back.

This is my 2nd visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed! We were welcomed by the receptionist who took us through the current protocols and told us if there was anything else we needed to know during our stay, not to hesitate but come and ask! The hotel is bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. The evening meal was excellent and well presented. Breakfast was very good as well with plenty of choice. The town of Irvine has undergone a bit of a transformation in recent years - the harbour is nice with a few coffee shops and the beach is superb. We will definitely return and have already recommended the hotel to family and friends.
