No complaints, the only note of concern being the hotel was full and the restaurant is not big enough to accommodate all guests at busy times

Had a great time at the cardrona hotel went for a few days away with my daughter (12) unfortunately she was too young to go in the gym even with adult supervision. Breakfast was very busy and that evening we got a letter under the door explaining the hotel was very busy and to go earlier.

Beautiful views from hotel. Excellant food in restaurant. Very spacious lovely bedroom with king size bed. Would stay again at a Mcdonald hotel.

We had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel on 15th March 2013.Our room was warm,clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a lovely meal. The only downside was being placed at a table outwith the dining room for breakfst.Otherwise it was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay very much at the Cardrona Hotel and will return again. The staff are very friendly and helpful when needed. The facilities are first class and rooms are a good size. Our room (314) looked onto the golf course and was very clean and spacious. It had a good sized bathroom with separate bath and exceptional shower. The hotel was busy due to the Rugby international and other events but we had no problem getting a table in the restaurant at breakfast or dinner (dinner booked in advance). Dinner service was a little bit slow but not a problem really, as I said it was busy. The portions in the restaurant are quite small but the quality is good. My wife used the gym (I'm far too lazy for that) and the pool is a good size too. There is a newly tarred path into Peebles which is a very pleasant walk in the morning.

Staff all very friendly & helpful. We arrived early and the reception staff checked us in without question. Room was lovely, very spacious. The seating area in the room was a bit tired, but that is my only small criticism of our stay. Bar and restaurant staff were all very attentive and the food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely return.

Thanks again to Pamela and Classic Britain for providing us with an excellent deal at this hotel, where we managed to get two late availability nights. We were allocated a 'complimentary upgrade' and had a Deluxe Double room with patio doors leading out to the terrace and golf course. The room was very comfortable and had lovely scenic views. The bathroom was well equipped, with separate bath and power shower and we were provided with robes and slippers. The hotel's staff and facilities were also very good. The food was mostly excellent apart from one problematic main course, but the issue was dealt with very professionally and to our full satisfaction. We would recommend this hotel for visiting the area and hope to return again ourselves.

I booked the offer of dinner, bed and breakfast which included 50% off spa treatments. I telephoned the hotel a week in advance to be told that the spa was fully booked so was unable to take advantage of this offer, was disappointed as I was celebrating my birthday. Other than that we had a lovely stay, food was excellent and we were very happy with our room.

Had a wonderful stay at Cardrona Hotel. We stayed for one night to celebrate my daughters 2nd birthday. Everything about the service we received was excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the room that we stayed in was very spacious. I would definately stay there again.
