We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the bedroom to be clean and comfortable although the hotel itself is badly needing renovated. We had problems with our shower which when hot was very full on and sore on the body. The food was basic but edible and the staff were all very helpful and friendly and we would certainly go back again.

This hotel is past its best but it still has an elegant Art Deco charm. It also has wonderful staff and our room had an amzing sea view.

Enjoyed our stay. a wee bit disappointed as Mums 80th and I did request best avaliable ans see veiw hotel, but my Mum was happy, room clean, staff nice, food good, very good value for Sunday night Saver, mum would like to go again

Enjoyed our stay had seaview room which was very good value for price we paid with Classicbritain. Staff were all very helpful and efficient. Regent is an old Hotel and as such is in the process of being upgraded. This would not put us of returning for another visit.

Enjoyed our wkend break as usual.Staff lovely and helpful especially Irene the waitress. Meals were lovely especially the fry up at breakfast.Bedroom although needing updated was clean and comfortable. Will defo be back next year.

We have stayed here 3 times now and the Hotel and Staff cannot be faulted. Most of the Staff have been there each time we stayed and this proves it is a happy environment to work in and this shows in the way the staff are so nice to visitors.

The bedrooms and hotel overall requires a complete facelift. The shower was far too powerful and water catapulted all over the bathroom, everything was soaked and caused me to slip. For a hotel of this size and the price paid we were disappointed with the standard and felt we could have found much better accomodation for the same price or less.

First time trying this hotel and requested a quieter back facing room but unfortunately there was a lot of noise - room being directly over the kitchen, and of course staff have to start work before 6pm!

spent two nights at regent hotel .i did not like the hotel badly needing refurbished .had to ask for another mattress as the springs where digging into my body .the lift was badly needing agood clean it was small so 4 people jamed against the walls in it was not nice.food was tastless and breakfast was greasy .if it wasnt for the staff who where helpfull .i would have cut my stay at hotel .ben to a few classic britain hotels .will think twice about booking with them again .c paterson
