Lovely overnight in a lovely hotel. Staf very friendly. Service good. No porridge or cornflakes options at breakfast which disappointed my husband. He’s not a fan of any other cereal. Everything else was fine.

Hotel foyer, restaurant and bar are all lovely as are the staff. Just the hotel room (no 113) could do with a wee spruce up like the scratched chest of drawers etc. overall would go back as was such a good deal and enjoyed the food especially the choice at breakfast. Would recommend to friends

Lovely hotel, staff and food was wonderful. We could not get checked in until 4pm, an hour after we should have. Room was so far away from reception.

Nice hotel , waited at our table for dinner far to long ,/ over an hour after putting in our order , breakfast cold , no fried eggs no bacon , decided to do the continental thing , this hotel lacks the essentials, in the restaurant.

i cannot fault anything about the Riverside. friendly staff, clean and excellent value overnight deal. we will continually go back for a wee overnighter. the food was delicious. i voted for them to win a few awards so i hope they get one. good luck.

Beautiful hotel rooms were lovely and clean and spacious, food was excellent and the service from the staff was amazing.I will certainly return and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were lovely. The food was excellent. Our room however was tired. Some of the rooms have been renovated to a good standard but sadly we didn’t have one. We had a nice stay and couldn’t fault the staff for anything. They were helpful and always pleasant.

Arrived for a cheeky wee overnight stay for our wedding anniversary. Hotel is lovely and food is amazing! Would definitely recommend - and the deal we got was great value for money.

Our 2nd visit here as we thoroughly enjoyed our first. However, we were in a dog friendly room 240. The furthest away room at the top end of the hotel. The floor was full of dog hair and I had to ask for it to be hoovered. Also had to ask for hangers!!! Breakfast was chaos with trays running out, juices not been refilled. The hotel was very busy and most staff run off their feet, apart from one young girl who was very obviously gover. One of the cleaners, whilst cleaning rooms next to us had music blaring. All in all didnt enjoy our stay and doubt we will return . The food for dinner was first class and the bottle of wine a nice touch.

I had booked this hotel for my daughter and her boyfriends first anniversary which I had been too myself a couple of times,on arrival to her room she had to phone reception because her bed covers where very dirty of course they did clean them straight away so that was fine. The dinner was booked for 5.45, so the waitress came and took their order after 45 minutes. waiting for their starters to come they had to ask the waitress if there was something wrong to which the waitress replied I'm so sorry I have forgotten to put the order in that's not restaurant standard not good! They had been up all night as they said the bed was so uncomfortable she came home absolutely tered on the Monday and said she wold never return again.
