excellent location. Good food and helpful staff. Only drawback is that executive suite although a nice room , is located on ground floor and has no outlook. Faces onto front car park and windows are half opaque glass.

Had a really lovely stay here, can’t recommend enough, staff were friendly and attentive, they were busy with coach parties but it didn’t affect our stay in any way , room was lovely and food very nice, only downside we found is that we were on the 3rd floor and WiFi was almost non existent, also our room (executive suite) was massive but the tv was small and couldn’t see it from the bed properly!

I thought the Rendez Hotel was excellent, the room was lovely overlooking the canal and clean, the staff couldn't do enough for you and the food was absolutely delicious. It is in a lovely location and the Restaurant is overlooking the canal which was very pleasant. I would certainly recommend the place for a short break and will certainly be going back again.

Excellent hotel, we stated when booking the break we would be bringing a mini fridge due to my wife,s medication ,however when we checked in they said we have put mini fridge in the room for you .room excellent worth paying extra for canal view . Food was excellent , only down side was service in the restaurant it was very slow one night it took from 6-40pm till 8.30pm to have 3 courses, good job you could watch the barges going by between courses. Would recommend this hotel to anybody

As parents with two children, rather than have a big holiday once a year, we like to go on lots of mini breaks and I have to say that The Rendez Hotel is by far the best we have stayed in. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our children loved spending time in the pool and our evening meal and breakfast was exceptional.

Offer was very good value. Food and service was also good and room was well appointed looking over the canal. Only downside was the weather which is beyond your control. Nice to see narrow boats passing in the morning. On the whole a pleasant and quiet stay.

We spent Easter weeknd at the rendez hotel skipton & had a lovely time there. It was our 1st visit but won’t be our last. We only had a standard bedroom but it was very spacious with a large bed & a sofa as well as chairs & table. Plenty of storage space & lots of conveniently placed plug sockets. The room wasn’t luxurious but modern & very clean & had everything we could want. Only small niggle was the shower wasn’t great, the heat was consistent but not very powerful, still did the job tho. The hotel itself had a good ambience & very friendly staff. The choice in the restaurant was good & the food & staff excellent. I have a lot of food intolerances which was no problem at all & never once had to remind the staff, in fact they made me aware that certain things were in some of the dishes so I could avoid them. We ate in the restaurant for all 3 evenings & altho they had the usual classics, fish & chips etc & the usual grill menu, steaks etc on every night they also had another menu which was different each night, so a good choice. The bar staff came to take your drinks order as soon as you were seated, there was no long wait which is often the case, so we actually had our drinks whilst waiting for our food instead of 1/2 way threw which is so often the case. There’s also a nice bar you can relax in after.The view from the restaurant overlooking the canal was lovely & relaxing. In the mornings we walked along the canal to skipton town center, a pleasant,easy walk which was about 30mins either way. The hotels position is great & has quite a lot of places to visit within 30mins so plenty to do in the area. The hotel also has a gym & swimming pool for which they supply towels for but we didn’t use this as we wanted to make the most of the area. We will definitely stay here again & recommend it to others.

Nice hotel by a canal and only a mile away from skipton town. Rooms are spacious and in need of a little update, especially the bathroom but comfortable. Food portions on the small side but thoroughly enjoyable. Staff and service great and we enjoyed our weekend away.

Lovely hotel with a super friendly atmosphere (including hatching chicks in the reception),clean and airy room, comfortable bed. Had a problem with the meal on the last night but it was swiftly attended to. In all an excellent experience.

This deal was amazing value the food, the location, the hotel staff where all fantastic. Sadly we would be reluctant to return to this hotel due to the constant noise of the very heavy doors opening and closing through the day and the night they are so heavy all you hear is constant banging which really disturbed our sleep and stay prior to sleep. We where on the 3rd floor regards

From arriving to leaving we found the staff in this hotel exceptional. The room was large and clean and the bed very comfy. Although I would rate this hotel as three star, the ambience, food and location is that of a 4/5 star. We will definitely go back. We had a lovely time.

In the depth of winter the hotel was lovely and warm. We had a superior room on the fourth floor overlooking the canal. The room is well appointed and was cleaned daily. The restaurant was busy with coach parties, but service was well maintained and there was a good choice menu with high quality food. Breakfast is buffet style with a wide range for all tastes. A highlight at night is the green floodlighting over the canal, it was great to see swans floating past the restaurant.

Went to this hotel for a couple of nights on a winters break. There was nothing to fault. Reception was speedy and welcoming, pointing us to the bar area where we could order lunch. We were early and the room was not ready but as soon as it became available a member of staff came to let us know. The canal side bedroom was large and with views across the canal and rural areas beyond.The dining room was well staffed and decorated and the evening meal (Three menus to choose from which could be mixed and matched) and breakfast were superb. The dining room staff are very attentive and helpful. Will definitely return.

My husband & I together with our friends enjoyed a really comfortable stay at the Rendez. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The rooms had terrific views over the canal & were very comfortable. The choice on the menu was extensive & all our food was beautifully presented & thoroughly enjoyable. All in all our experience was excellent & great value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Very welcoming and helpful staff, room comfortable, well equipped and suitable. By far the highlight is the food, excellent quality and one of the best breakfasts I have had. The hotel is severely let down by the leisure complex attached to it which were filthy and totally unacceptable Overall a good hotel stay but not a pleasant leisure complex break
