Had an amazing stay at The Angus Hotel. Very friendly welcome from all members off staff. Food was amazing and the afternoon tea was a lovely treat. The use of the Spa and pool area was was a great area to finish off the day.

We had a bad first night at dinner service. The manager Gareth apologised for the inconvenience and then the rest of the stay was brilliant. Spa area was excellent with swimming, sauna, steam room and a hot tub. Definitely will come again, maybe for one of those entertainment breaks. Cheers ?

Had such a fab overnight. Room and spa facilities have been modernised, both were spotlessly clean too. The singer and atmosphere in the evening was fantastic. Will definitely be rebooking in the future!

Great value hotel, brilliant room, great spa, amazing food and to top it of staff we encountered were a credit to the hotel, especially the Bar/Restaurant Manager, where nothing was too much trouble for him, will definitely return ??

We had a lovely stay at this hotel , our room had recently been renovated and was excellent.The staff were helpful at all times, and very pleasant.The food we had was also excellent and a good choice. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Another amazing stay, staff so welcoming. Food was delicious, the deal is such good value for money. Only downside was bed was a bit firm but that’s personal preference. We love the town of Blairgowrie it’s got a great feeling about it too. My mum recently passed away and she loved coming here too so it has an extra special place in my heart. Thanks for having us!

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Food good albeit disappointed that the evening menu was exactly the same each evening. Room (141) okay except for the shower and associated drainage which needs to be sorted out. Reported to staff, and handyman did attempt to rectify but to no avail. Well located for nearby walks and town amenities.

Our room was a bit dated, but I understand upgrades have been carried out on some already & there was improvements being carried out whilst we were there, so I'm sure it's an ongoing process. We didn't use the leisure facilities which I understand are excellent. Food was excellent though & all round good value for money for us. Strongbow cider would have been the icing in the cake for us, but the Crown next door & other Blair hostelries with Strongbow got the benefit instead.

Stayed at Angus hotel for 3 nights The food was really good specially evening meal,the breakfast is a buffet style,only thing I found the fried eggs cold We were in room 103 the room itself was spotless but the noise from the radio you could here all the time speakers above our room and radio was left on all night on Tuesday very noisy The staff were very good ,and spa facilities were excellent. Would definitely return but not to room 103

Very pleasant stay. Hotel very clean as were rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing - well presented and very tasty. Well situated in town with plenty of parking out back. Would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel all staff are very friendly and helpful, the pool,sauna and spa are a great way to relax,the hotel is getting some refurbishments at the moment which will update the rooms, the room was clean and comfortable & had everything you needed in it. The food was lovely and plenty of choice the only negative I could say was the breakfast although plenty of choice was look warm/cold ,maybe the heaters need turned up a bit....Will definitely be back to stay

Overall a good hotel although we had to change rooms due to dirty sheets and a window not closing. Spa facilities were good but it would’ve been nice to have been told on arrival that not all areas were working. Food was lovely.

Had a cracking 2 night stay here. Definitely will be back. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles on first mornin. But second morning was better.staff were brilliant. Pool an Sauna loved them. Thank you for haven us.

We had a lovely break at The Angus Hotel, very welcoming and relaxing. Staff were attentive, and any minor issues were quickly resolved. Lovely location in the centre of town, with everything you may need on the doorstep. Will definitely be returning!

Self service check in/out very frustrating did not see one person do without assistance would have been better with traditional checking/out. Rooms dated and in need of upgrading. Net curtain badly stained after some obvious flooding from a window left open. Screws sticking out of bath panel. Food good quality but had to ask for our main on first night after long delay. Pool,attractive but freezing, jacuzzi out of order, also hydrotherapy jet. Good changing room witderfloor heating. Didn’t get facial as an error had been made and booking not on phone diary. She was very apologetic and offered if on another visit to give enhanced treat.

We generally had a lovely stay with good value for money. The spa is beautifully renovated but would benefit from a cozy spinner. Our rooms were in need of an upgrade , however the bathroom was modern & fresh. Let down by the bath not being clean. Our evening meals were very good. Our breakfast on the second day was lovely & fresh but sadly on our first morning, the breakfast was dire. Only one member of staff to be seen. No pastries at all, ran out of bread, majorly undercooked sausages, bacon & mushrooms & luke warm beans. Not good enough as the staff should know how many people to cater for & should be up to standard every day. Most of the staff are lovely & helpful, particularly the good looking tall guy in the tweed waistcoat serving at night.

No complaints with the room/accommodation bar and function hall. The pool is lovely and has a massive steam room too. The jacuzzi is not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues but once you’re in it it’s lovely. The staff were all nice and helpful but the lad running the bar was stressed as he was on his own a lot. The food was good but was a bit cold on 2 of the nights, as the staff were so busy we did not ask for it to be re-heated. My main gripe would be the Hogmanay ball, it was just too much and the band just did not have any charisma or oomph to get the party started! We left and sat in the bar and played cards only returning for our stovies which were very nice! I think an hour before the bells of Scottish dancing would be enough. This has put me off going back again for the New Year break, shame really as it was a nice break.

A wonderful and fantastic value stay at Angus Hotel - we had enjoyed this package before, and this time it was even better as we got the pool and steam room all to ourselves for an hour, which allowed us to fully unwind. The afternoon tea in particular with delicious, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The only small note was that the heated towel rail in the bathroom had a habit of spouting out excessive heat at random times, making the bathroom very hot sometimes. I'll definitely be back :)

hotel great .staff good ..but when using the pool, water very cold n jacuzzi not working properly either ..we went to reception to report this ,apparently no one else had mentioned it ...yet read a review saying similar about 2 weeks before ...because that is why we go to angus hotel to relax ..its a bit disappointing....
