LOVE THIS HOTEL FOR A NIGHT AWAY EVERTHING ABOUT IT.MY DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAW ARE JUST BACK AFTER A FIRST STAY AND IT WILL NOT BE HER LAST,SHE HAD MEALS IN IT BUT NEXT TIME IT WILL BE ANOTHER OVERNIGHT STAY. THANK YOU AND LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR NEXT NIGHT AWAY IN MARCH.

Hotel was great , meal was lovly However had problems with the shower was running cold freezing water then the tap fell off, had to phone reception they sent sunone up to check it out.. then without warning maintenance Man rurned up sunday morning 8:30 banging on door! This ruined our experience, they could have phoned and let us know someone was coming to see it again!

Stayed here a few times now and have no negative comments. All staff very friendly and helpful. Food good. Cosy bar with log fires , bedroom lovely. Have booked again for April ?

The evening meal was good, breakfast very poor, cold and not presented well may be due to large coach party they had that morning, first room offered very small and close to road next room was ok for size but right next to boiler store room and noise kept us awake all night and along with the fire alarm going off at midnight not a good night. Worst o not even an apology next morning when we checked out.

We had a lovely two night stay here, we had a lovely warm comfortable bedroom. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous.

enjoyed an overnight at hotel. staff very friendly and food was delicious and very filling. room very spacious and shower superb. sitting relaxing in front of an open log fire was an added bonus. would recommend staying here, it has an old world charm.

Overall had a good time. Food was excellent,service in restaurant was good. Service in the bar was very slow both nights as it was very busy. More than one guest complained to me.

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel was busy so service was a bit slow. However the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good. Our room was fine but liquid soap containers in our friends bathroom were empty. Stay was however good value for money and we would go back again.

Excellent service with friendly staff from the reception bar and dining areas. I was allocated a family room which was great for extra space. The food in the bar was of a high standard and would highly recommend. A great hotel for all ages and even better as entertainment from 9pm. Would definitely return again and recommend to others. Great value for what I paid.

Only description I can offer is JUST SUPERB!! From our lovely welcome by Lindsay on reception.. to our beautiful large disabled friendly room..to the fantastic meal...and to every member of staff being kind and pleasant..this hotel has gone to the top of our list of places we MUST return to. Top marks for cleanliness and well maintained decor in The Winnock, with several log fires adding to the ambience in the comfortable bar and lounges. We chose The Taste of Scotland menu and had the most amazing food experience cooked by the very competent chefs and served by the delightful waiting staff. All in all we give the hotel 10 out of 10 for their hospitality and attention to their guest's comfort and we highly recommend it.

Nice, good sized room, warm welcome. Staff were excellent. Enjoyed dinner and overall excellent value for what we paid. The booking was also seamless so would certainly use again and also visit hotel again.

Been going to Drymen for years but have used other hotel .... everything was great .... huge let down on the Sunday morning at breakfast ... waitress very rude no manners to say the least ( dark haired girl with tattoos) .... not even a smile or any conversation at all .. asked for another pot of coffee and she came over and slammed it down on our table without a word ..... not what I expected all other staff were great ... bar and reception staff were amazing

Very pleasant stay at the Winnock hotel . Rooms comfortable, clean and we'll appointed . We had a meal in the bar in front of the open fire . Bar prices quite respectable for a hotel . Breakfast was excellent with a choice of continental or a hearty full cooked English. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel the hotel and rooms very clean and comfortable and the log fire in lounge area a fantastic touch for a cold winters night. We were on a dinner, bed and breakfast break and could not fault the food or service we ordered my only complaint was we would have liked to order steak and happy to pay extra and they a separate Scottish menu separate with steak on it but we could not mix the menus and the starters on the Scottish menu was not to our liking. I think this rule is really silly as we would have happily paid for the steak so it might be worth the hotel offering this as we were not the only people at the hotel we heard moaning about this rule. My further comment was the ladies public toilets the smell was disgusting so the next time we did need the toilet we ran up to our room. However I would definitely recommend for the price this hotel and although a couple of niggles wot recommend.
