Booked with a friend for overnight stay. Rooms are dated but the rest of hotels decor is lovely. I believe thy have started a refurb if the rooms. Service was fantastic throughout, staff very friendly and accommodating. We booked an additional afternoon tea and spa treatment. Afternoon tea was what you would expect and out treatments were fab. Very relaxing areas in the hotel. Dinner included in deal was great and with an allowance each you aren’t limited to a set menu like some other places. Great choice. However be aware of bar prices, £10 for a large Pinot Grigio which we weren’t made aware of until we had to pay, would have been nice to know or given a wine price list with our afternoon tea. We would go back as the service was first class and location on the golf course was lovely.

A great overnight. Rooms were perfect and very clean. The pool, sauna and steam room were great and not too busy. The meal in Flemings which was part of the deal was gorgeous and great value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The staff were all very informative and friendly. We had dinner in flemings resturant and all of the food was very tasty and to a high standard. The tails were also very good.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very busy as had two weddings on, despite this we got checked in early. Because of the upgrade we got, the room had another set of doors between the main door and the room, so we didn't hear anything which was great. Only criticism I would give is the placemats at dinner were dirty. I went to turn it over and it was worse. So someone is skipping their cleaning duty. It makes you wonder what other corners are being cut.

Amazing stay yet again! Food amazing, spa amazing, rooms amazing and clean, staff amazing. Honestly can not fault it here, it is one of my favourite hotels! It was my husband's 30th, I took banners and balloons up the day before and they had upgraded our room and put them in the room for us arriving. I would stay here if I could!

I was unhappy at this hotel as my main meal (sirloin steak) arrived and it wasn't very warm and I was woken up in the morning very early with the linen truck being loaded and unloaded right under my room window and my view was very poor looking onto a patch of grass at the end of the hotel covered in cigarette butts

Spa facilities were fantastic and all staff encountered throughout the hote were friendly and helpful. Food fantastic and plenty choice for breakfast. Rooms spotless and beds were really comfy. Upgraded to a suite with 2 adjoining bedrooms which were fantastic and complimentary water and juices supplied in fridge for us. Balcony looking on to golf course had amazing views. Highly recommend.

Glad to see this back on your website! Frequent visitor to this hotel. Room upgrade as usual however new beds and pillows make much better nights sleep. Ate in Fleming s on this occasion and food was lovely and it was piping hot. Breakfast lacking some old favourites ie haggis Square sausage and browns. Limited juices available.No tomato juice. Service at both meals was excellent. Reception staff always welcoming and friendly. Booked for April!!

Have stayed here many times b4 changing over to doubletree hilton! Worst nights sleep we have had, seemingly all beds were renewed! Room wasn't clean, very poor standard compared to every other time! Dinner was lovely but breakfast was cold

Disappointed - one night stay for my wife’s birthday - started off well - room was excellent - girl on reception with silver nails couldn’t have been more helpful - meal was fab - but - lounge after dinner was freezing, £8 for a very plain sandwich (x2) was robbery, the staff on exit were hopeless compared to arrival, discovered we’d been overcharged for the meal on departure then, at home, realised we’d been overcharged for the treatment my wife had too. In short, won’t be back

4 of us had an enjoyable stay here, only problem was a prepaid birthday surprise of wine was not in the room on arrival, but it was sorted out quickly.
