An attractive hotel set in a quiet area near Glerothes. The bedrooms in the old part of the house are well appointed and serviced to a high standard. Those in the new block are very modern and do not have the ambience as the main hotel. Food delicious and well presented-breakfast excellent. Drinks prices are good value for a hotel. Staff very attentive and helpful. Well worth considering if staying in the Glenrothes area.

Had a nice stay, was upgraded into a superior room. Pool good. Food lovely and hot and good sized portions but could maybe of had more choice on dinner menu as not everyone wants fish n chips or steak pie.

The hotel was of a reasonable standard, but if staying more than a night you would find the the same A% Menu uninteresting. On my visit there was no dish of the day available although it advertised one. The swimming pool etc although basic was clean and fitments of a reasonable standard .

A very friendly hotel with good standards. Visited in August for a second year running with a toddler and a member of close family who uses a wheelchair. Adapted room has excellent facilities and communal areas are spacious. Pool and gym areas new, clean and a great way to avoid wet days. Staff very helpful and accommodating. A great base to explore Fife. We will return.

Had a great stay at Balgeddie House. The hotel was well situated for exploring the East Neuk. Our room was lovely with lots of space and had a nice outlook. We had two young nieces with us who had comfortable fold down beds. The staff were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Leisure facilities were very good and we made full use of them. Dinner was excellent quality for my husband and I. The girls had the childrens manu, which although slightly limited, was also of good quality. Marion on reception and Steve (I think) duty manager were particularly pleasant and helpful. The only difficulty we had was to do with the Hotel's computer system - which does not recognise children's DBB rates (I think their usual system is that children are free when sharing with adults and their meals are paid for as taken?). However, I had no difficulty re sorting this out with staff. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to return again. Our thanks again to the staff for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.

We have just returned from a short break and Balgeddie House. The hotel was everything we needed for three generations travelling together aged between 14-88 years. My mother's mobility is very poor and everyone in the hotel was thoughtful and helpful. Little touches like remembering to move the chair from the table so that she could easily get the wheelchair in were really apreciated. Her room, with a disabled bathroom, was so easy for her. Food was freshly prepared - particularly appreciated at breakfast time. Rooms and all public areas were clean and I felt that all staff took a pride in the work. We used the leisure facilities - both pool and gym and found them clean and cared for also. We hope to return for another visit!

Lovely hotel, pool facilities and gym were very good. Choice on dinner menu was good with decent sized portions. Hotel was very quiet, however this suited us as we were looking for a peaceful break.
