Fantastic 2 night dbb stay for the 3rd year running. We love this hotel. Great rooms, great food, great staff. Couldn’t ask for better. Location ideal for a trip into Ayr and Prestwick itself has a really nice Main Street with shops, eateries etc. We are a group of 4 couples having an annual meet up and the Carlton ticks all boxes off our requirements.

Wow this hotel was lovely stayed one night room was great also the staff well they wer something else they all a credit to the place nothing was a bother so attentive also very friendly breakfast was great we loved it so much we tried to book in for another night but was fully booked and no wonder as lovely place to stay already looking to book again

This is our fourth stay at The Carlton Hotel absolutely love it, from check in to check out the staff are fantastic, friendly atmosphere in the bar and restaurant, food was delicious as always, will definitely be back and would highly recommend well worth a visit, rooms are spotless and very comfy.

Excellent service. Ate in the carvery where the choice was not large but the service was very good. Sunday saver was unbeatable value. Breakfast had a huge choice. We will be back again

Carlton Hotel is fabulous, staff are great from checking in until check out they could not have been nicer, great team wok at the hotel, room was spotless and spacious. Food was excellent breakfast plenty of variety, hot food was lovely, dinner was delicious,great menu plenty of choices. I would not hesitate in recommending The Carlton Hotel. Have already booked a return visit in April.

On arrival , we were pleasantly surprised with our choice to stay here. We were checked in promptly and advised about breakfast times and our meal time. The rooms were lovely and a good size. The beds were comfortable and the room had all the necess e.g. hairdryer, iron, and ironing board and kettle. The breakfast both mornings were lovely and the evening meal on our second night was delicious. The choices available from the menu we were given were varied and there was something for everyone. Prices in the bar were reasonable and the tails were great. Overall we had a great time staying there and would return. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Return visit, another enjoyable stay. One comment - £69 special deal (dinner on one night) , as far as I could see there was no meal allowance mentioned. Initially hotel were unsure when we asked at dinner ,then advised of £15 allowance . Still a good deal but it should be made obvious there is a meal allowance, could have been trick if I decided to challenge. This will not put me off either myhotel breaks or the Carlton.

Enjoyed our first stay at The Carlton. Very friendly and efficient staff. Room was lovely. The standard of food, choice and presentation of it was fantastic. Good choice at breakfast too. Great value overnight break and will definitely be back again.
