My recent visit to The waterside was absolutely perfect. Hotel staff were lovely. My room was ready early. The room had the most magnificent view. One of the most relaxing places I’ve been. The food was 10/10. I could not fault the hotel for anything. Breakfast was excellent and relaxed. I will definitely be back.

Room was very nice.large comfy bed. Check in good Electric chargers for EV a bonus. Shame about the evening meal- burnt and overdone. Did comment at time and on check out but no follow up received. Have pictures if required.

Stayed here for my partner's birthday treat. Hotel was absolutely beautiful, stayed in Deluxe Room with stunning views of the beach and Isle of Arran. Food was amazing, staff were so lovely and attentive. Requested a little something for his birthday and they done him a birthday plate with chocolate dipped strawberries and a beer with a wee birthday message, was a lovey touch! Would 100% return. We had access to Gailes Hotel Thermal Suite but didn't realise was only for an hour, and we weren't allowed into the bar or outside hot-tub. Was a bit busy when we went so could've done without. Can't fault anything else though, thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you!

Beautiful hotel in a great location & a lovely beach walk nearby. All staff were very friendly & helpful. Food was amazing & great choices & very big portions too! Rooms were exceptional with a great sea view. Would definitely be back.

On arrival the room had a smell of drains/sewage. The drinking glasses provided were dirty. No care had been taken in the presentation of the room. Dinner, the selection available was good. Unfortunately, the food was of poor quality and presentation was mediocre at best. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast, again poor quality and presentation. Staff, young girls that were poorly trained and motivated.

Very friendly staff. Lovely well appointed room with a good view to Arran. The bottle of Prosecco was much enjoyed. Nice choice of food for the evening meal.

Had a wonderful stay at the waterside hotel. Room was lovely. Staff were all very helpful and courteous. Food was lovely, my main meal at dinner was one of the best I've had anywhere. Will definitely be back!

Room was excellent. Big spacious and clean..can't fault it..booked dinner in restaurant and my partners starter arrived which had a bug crawling in her tomato. Obviously this was off putting for main meal and we got starter took off the bill..upon reflection we should have made a complaint as it definitely put a dampner on our night away. Disappointing after great reviews and especially marking a 20 year anniversary. Won't be back
