Rob Roy Hotel, Aberfoyle

We have visited the Rob Roy on various occasions and find it good value for money and we always find the staff very helpful and courteous. Threre was entertainment in the hotel on one of the two nights on our last visit which was unexpected so really nice. This was arelaxing break for us however there are good walks within a short distance and lots of tourist sites to visit, which we do on a regular basis so best of both worlds. Thoroughly recommend hotel and will be back.

Really enjoyable time here.Room smallish but perfectly adequate. Water pressure in shower was low but you can't have everything. Attached bottle of soap by the sink but nothing in the shower. Asked maid but she said there was none left in the store cupboard but receptionist gave us one.

Great two days spent with friends at the Rob Roy Hotel. Have visited this hotel a few times now and have never been disappointed. Good food and lovely staff. This was great value for money by My Hotel Breaks and will definitely stay here again.

Room was ready upon arrival and was spotless, great shower and plenty coffee and tea provided with the kettle. Booked for breakfast and dinner and the food was excellent, dinner menu different each night with great choices and the service was fab. Will visit again as we both enjoyed our break, well done Rob Roy Hotel ????

This is our second visit to the Rob Roy and we will be back, rooms spotless and of a decent size, excellent location for dog walking as the old train line lies next to the hotel and is now a walkway. The food was really good and plenty of it, the choice of having your food in the restaurant or bar is great for pet owners, we chose the bar and our table was set out lovely, staff were great and very helpful, looking forward to our next visit.

Had a super break at the rob Roy hotel. Lovely large bedroom no 65 with the most comfortable bed and pillows x. Very pleasant and helpful staff nothing was too much bother for them. From Welcoming reception staff to the waiters especially Melissa who went all out to ask the chef if he could provide something different to what was on the dinner menu that night and he kindly made me a cheese salad. Definitely good value for money and will certainly be back

Comfortable rooms, if a little dated and a bit warm due to the warmer temperatures we've been getting. Thankfully we took our fan. Rooms are basic but clean. Service from reception to bar was very good. Only criticism I'd give is the meal was served rather too quickly. As soon as you were finished the starter, the main arrived - same if you had a sweet. 5 /10 minutes gap would be ideal.
