Our thank you to all the staff who pulled out all the stops to be sure our stopover was one of complete satisfaction .. We will go on to recommend the Winnock Hotel.

Another excellent stay at this lovely hotel. On this occasion ,unlike all previous visits, we had some issues ( very poorly presented breakfast on 1st morning, room thermostat which was constantly on for 2 days......resulting in open windows next to overnight coach-parking & loading keeping us awake from pre 6a.m. Room service interruption without knocking). Fortunately, these issues were, in the main aptly dealt with. Bar & Dining staff were especially good as was Bobby (maintenance:on dealing with thermostat). Dinners & bar-food were usual impeccable standard & young waiting servers brilliant. Despite afore mentioned problems,never previously experienced, we just love our visits to The Winnock.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip down" memory lane." To the trossachs " The winnock hotel was very good in both accommodation and food the staff were superb both in welcoming , friendly ness and helpfulness as were the waiting staff. Only gripe was why was the entertainment entirely confined to the foreign visitors ? I believe that there were a party of Swedish guests there when we were in house They appeared to be allocated to the 'garden room' with a variety of entertainment on each evening of their of their visit . Each evening as we passed by on route to our bedroom there appeared to be a very good entertainment show going on which we would have loved to have taken part in However, We , the independent guests were given no chance of mingling which is of course our Scottish tradition and would have been very happy to mingle in and make our foreign visitors feel more than welcome Hopefully the management may take this our only constructive comments on board and have a think about them The Swedish group were party to entertainment each night of their stay whilst we the independent customers were excluded - not really fair - is it ? Hope the management of the hotel take these comments on board and have a think about not only their foreign visiting guests but also the home grown variety ! ! Kind regards.

We had an excellent overnight stay. The food was delicious and we really liked the option of upgrading to the scottish menu. The rooms were spotless. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We spent the night in the bar and enjoyed our drinks and the surroundings. We would highly recommend a visit to this hotel we will definitely be back soon.

Another exceptional visit to this wonderful establishment where Gary (host) and his team go that extra mile to make you welcome. On occasion when mishap may have remotely influenced my opinion negatively the staff ensured without pressure from me or family that that would never be the case by being totally professional and surmounted any conflict. Well done Gary on your personal touch and excellent staff. Thank you. The rooms we had this visit were not as salubrious as previous where they had been refurbished,nevertheless, they were spacious,clean and very presentable.

Had the best nite ever in this hotel, it was beautiful inside & the rooms were fabulous... Spotlessly clean, bright & fresh... The staff were wonderful & very friendly & made us feel so welcome...The entertainment was fabulous too & you have plenty of choice of things to do in this hotel... The food was amazing, tasted delicious & huge portions of home cooked food... No faults to be found by myself & my friend & we will defiantly be going back to this hotel hopefully sooner rather than later. Mandy xx

Lovely hotel. Staf very friendly and helpful. Stayed on B+B basis but ate in the hotel bar for our evening meal. Food was delicious and portions plentiful. Breakfast was equally delicious . This was my second time staying at the hotel and have already booked my third. I would def recommend staying here.

The best short break my wife and myself have had in many a year. The hotel ticks every box. The food is absolutely excellent whether it be a bar meal or the restaurant - beautifully cooked and huge portions. The staff cannot do too much for you and the help is always accompanied by a smile. Our first visit to the Winnock but definitely not our last - cannot recommend it highly enough.

Not a child friendly hotel, refused entry to bar which is part of the hotel as we weren't eating in there. bar staff very rude waited nearly half an hour to be served a drink as they were seeing to the drinks in the function area male bar staff didn't even have the manners to say they would be serving you shortly they just kept blanking everyone standing at the bar. Staff didn't seem to know about the menus when on the DB&B tariff advised the first night if we wanted to eat off the other menu we would be charged £26.50 however 2nd night they advised we only needed to pay the difference between the 2 menus which was only £7. Very chaotic at times. Would not recommend this hotel for young children .
