Home from another great break at the Kings manor. Lovely hotel and all the staff are very helpful and polite. Can't fault it. This is our fourth visit to the hotel. Highly recommend

We had a very enjoyable stay at the King's Manor Hotel. All the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Staff in the restaurants were friendly and helpful both in the evening and at breakfast time. Staff member Noelia requires a special mention for her friendly and helpful manner.

Great Hotel, would definitely go back, food was good and hot, staff very friendly, enjoyed the best facilities especially Spa/pool and Aqua fit classes. We were given Club Rooms which were so spacious, again friendly informative staff - a well run hotel.

Perfect as always. Only minor criticism was that our room had no usable wifi... Not a major problem as my iPad had a sim card... Staff excellent as always and food in the Bistro was superb

This was an impromptu short break. We decided to go away for a couple of nights on the Sunday. Booked it before dinner on Sunday and set off on the Monday. Excellent! Staff at Classic very helpful and assisted us in choosing the best value for money break. On arrival we were booked in quickly and efficiently. We upgraded to a Club room, which was very spacious. A huge super kingsize bed and lots of storage. After unpacking, we went down for a drink at the bar before dining in the Zest Bistro. Again staff attentive and courteous. And the portions were huge! After a good comfortable nights sleep we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. There was something for everyone....fruit, yoghurt, kippers, cereal, juice and of course a fully cooked breakfast . All washed down with fresh tea or coffee and an abundance of toast. Later, we walked outside the hotel and caught a bus into the centre of Edinburgh. After a lovely day sight seeing and shopping we returned to Kings Manor. Having rested our weary feet we decided to try Lauders Restaurant on the second night. What a treat. The staff again were attentive and polite with nothing being too much trouble. The food was lovely. Only criticism is the pate was.....tasteless! Detailed as chicken liver pate, it looked lovely but tasted of nothing in particular, like cheap meat paste actually. Everything else was lovely so we didn't complain. I used the leisure facilities which include a pool, a hot tub, a steam room and sauna. I also enjoyed a wonderful back, shoulder and neck massage which was extremely reasonably priced. All in all, we had a wonderful two days at the Kings Manor Hotel. I would recommend it to anyone and look forward to many more visits in the near future. Well done Best Western, this is a wee gem of a hotel.

Enjoyed our overnight stay at Kings Manor. We were in Edinburgh as we had tickets for a show at the Playhouse. Hotel ideal as large car park available at no extra cost and public transport into the city readily available nearby. Travelled into City by train on the Saturday evening and by bus on the Sunday morning. Bedroom very nice - both clean and comfortable with hair dryer and iron provided for use. Leisure complex also added bonus with decent size swimming pool. As only booked for Bed & Breakfast unable to comment on evening meal but Bistro & Bar seemed popular enough. Would like to return for a longer stay next time

Excellent service very nice and polite staff well turned out. Only slight improvement is the Wi-Fi virtually no signal in our room which we were hoping to use otherwise.....Well done See you all again

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at,i have a small gripe about the service in the dining room. It was if the waitresses werent properly trained. One example was our plates were taken when we had completed our main course we were not asked if we wanted to see the sweet menu 20 minutes later we left the dining room as no one came to ask if we wanted sweet. Also noted the food was getting delivered to the wrong tables. Having noted the small gripe we would have no problem returning as every other aspect was of a high standard.

I would highly recommend this hotel staff very friendly and helpful we were upgraded on arrival to a club room which was good. Meals were superb better in the bistro than in lauders breakfast was very nice aswel we will be back to this hotel next time we stay in edinburgh as its near the train station aswel

Stayed at KM a few times now but this was a first time with our wee granddaughter room for 3 was good size and the beds were comfortable She loved the swimming pool and the Monday aerobic class did not spoil her fun as she danced away in the baby pool The food was first class good menu This hotel is in a great location as it is only a few steps to the bus stop straight into Edinburgh in a few mins I will definitely return to the hotel and recommend it to all

Have used this hotel numerous times and never been disappointed. Staff and service excellent. Only gripe is poor wi-fi coverage. However will continue to return to hotel as everything else is so good.

We had a great stay Sunday night saver DBB rate. Club rooms great very clean and fresh. Used the pool sauna and steam room prior to dinner very relaxing. Options Bistro food great, service fantastic. The only let down was breakfast food did not look appetising, fried eggs had been out for some time and were very rubbery, scrambled egg the same, black pudding also rubbery, sausages so pale I wondered if they were microwave sausages. The hotel was very busy and breakfast needed replenished which happened when I was putting breakfast on my plate, this resulted in a member of staff decanting a tray of sausages onto the buffet and splashing grease all over my top. This is our second visit to Kings Manor we think it is a wonderful hotel and optios bistro is fab but breakfast needs some work. We will return.
