what a gem of a hotel when you drive up the avenue and see the hotel for the first time you say wow and it carries on inside the room the leisure facility and restaurant all first class had a fantastic stay we only stayed one night but will be back for longer next year what a great decision definitely our top hotel we have stayed in this year really superb

Just back from a 2 night stay in this hotel with my other half! We absolutely loved it! All the staff are so friendly and go out there way to help you! We were booked for dinner bed and breakfast for 2 nights with a 3 course meal and it's was amazing! Couldn't fault the place atol! Will be back again :)

Arrived at hotel and checked in by a girl, she wasn't very welcoming no smile but didn't ruin our stay. We then got to the room and it was gorgeous. Honestly it had everything u needed and very clean and well decored. Had dinner in restaurant and it was amazing, service was fantastic. Staff really chatty and friendly couldn't do enough for you. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for our great stay.

One of the best overnight stays we've ever had. Beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. Leisure facilities were excellent. The food was superb and the friendliest staff ever. From super helpful Ian at the reception to the chambermaids. Everyone worked hard but were so pleasant and helpful! Can't recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely be back!

The hotel has been refurbished to an extraordinary standard the rooms were five star staff are excellent and very friendly only criticism would be the price of the drinks especially the wine but after taking into account the standard of the hotel I suppose you would not grudge paying.a little more the food was excellent but needed a bigger choice of menue

Had a nice stay apart from the noise in the corridor between 2am and 4am which kept us awake for the duration. I appreciate that there was a couple of weddings on but maybe it might be beneficial to the other guests who are there for different reasons that wedding parties are told that they need to consider other guests after hours! Perhaps putting up signs in the corridor? On a positive note it was good to see that there were more sun beds in the pool area. Unfortunately I didn't experience them as I was too tired on the sunday morning to go to the pool as planned.

A lovely hotel which my husband and I would recommend. Beautiful food, my only grumble being the self service cooked breakfast not being hot enough. Also took one point off for service as the morning paper my husband requested was not delivered until afternoon (someone obviously had to go and get one).Food and Service in the restaurant spot on both nights we were there.

Sorry the swimming pool was in another building!! . The wine list wasn't up to much nor were the food choices. Breakfast the first morning was a bit cold.We had to move room as the shower temperature was out of kilter but it took two requests on both days of our stay
