Once again,a really nice relaxing break,nice rooms,friendly staff,lovely food,& the bonus of lovely weather.Even with a wedding on,food was superb & service superb....Couldn't find fault anywhere.Even the grounds were stunning in Spring colour,a credit to the maintenance staff.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel,& looking forward to our next visit,which hopefully will be sooner rather than later..

Main hotel looked lovely and food was excellent however the deal stated that we would be allocated the best room available and I doubt very much this was the case because although the hotel was very quiet we were not given a room in the main hotel but rather in the building at the side which seemed rather like a well-catered travel lodge room. Moreover, although the rest of the staff were pleasant the receptionist on duty that night was not terribly friendly or helpful.

We apologise on this occasion for not being able to offer a complimentary upgrade to the main house, but due to having a function at the racecourse, we had no availability for the main house rooms. We do as a rule offer all our Classic Britain guests a complimentary upgrade where possible and once again apologise that we were unable to accommodate this during your recent stay. The bed,breakfast, evening meal and airport car parking deal was great value for money. The bedroom in the main house was lovely, you could choose any three courses from the main menu for the evening meal and a quick but tasty breakfast in the morning. Having stayed at this hotel before I know that the room provided was one of the smallest but maybe the best available !?! Other than that exceptional value for money, superb food and staff are excellent. Highly recommended and will certainly be back.

We were upgraded to a beautiful room in the main hotel.Room was spotless , decorated and furnished to a high standard .Bed very comfortable . Staff were brilliant , very attentive and efficient from check in to check out .The food was absolutely delicious , we had an evening meal that you could not fault , food presented well and cooked exactly as ordered , quality and quantity very good Again service was excellent . Full scottish Breakfast was really nice , again quality and quantity good. Our stay was lovely and I would certainly recommend this hotel in fact we will book again for our parents as gifts .Perfect positioning for the Ayr races .

The staff were lovely and the food amazing. we really couldn't fault either. We were there for a wedding and had a buffet breakfast in the morning after. I was disappointed at the time it took to replenish the hotplates. The rooms were ok. Dissappointingly we were out in the annex of the hotel and not in the hotel it's self. The rooms were spacious and clean but I felt in need of an update / paint. It was -2 outside and we had to leave the warmth of the hotel to get to our room - not ideal. Would that stop me using the hotel again? No. Would that stop me recommending the hotel to others? No. A very enjoyable weekend had by all.

first class hotel and as you will see below gets full marks for everything only one remark I would make we stayed in the haydock suite and you had to pull down the blind every time you used the toilet

lovely hotel and was glad to have stayed in the main building. annexes were like motel buildings. grounds right on racecourse was interesting but used as short cut for local community including skateboarders--surely not on wedding days?? my son was considering this as wedding venue but this was off putting. food was good but shortage of choice over both evening dinners was disappointing. Nice staff!!

We were greeted very warmly at the front desk and had a very smooth check-in. We had stayed here before in the courtyard which was good but we were housed this time in the Sandown Suite. It was fabulous! The service could not be faulted throughout the whole hotel and we will definitely be back, I asked both evenings for the staff to pass my thanks to the chef for perfectly cooked meals. No hesitation in awarding this a 5 star recommendation.
