I asked for a upgrade to a room with a loch view the room was very basic, no bin in the room, windows where dirty, toilet was tiny I injured myself of the toilet roll holder it was so close to the toilet, I could not work the shower, on the good side the food was lovely, the staff very friendly.

We had a lovely stay only one snag our room when we arrived was OK but the mattress on the bed was awful! And the room had a smell of dogs . We did not sleep at all on 1st night mentioned to receptionist but unfortunately the hotel was full so we asked if possibly we could have mattress topper! They did not have any but long story short. On the Friday ( day 2) they offered us a front loch facing room which was fabulous service was excellent as was the food and all the staff were very helpful and friendly so after a not so good 1st night all was well in the end we would definitely go back to this hotel but I would ask for room on ground floor as they were far superior to the room we got. But had a great time perfect location and beautiful views overall a nice hotel.

Hotel was nice, good value for money and the food was excellent. Disappointed we did not get a room with a view as we made our booking months in advance. The road noice from our room was terrible as we had to leave the windows open because of the heat.

Lovely location, rooms extremely outdated. Definitely new mattresses needed as our has clear indentations. Cleanliness of the room not to highest standard but hotel staff friendly.

The activity break including meals was great value for money and I loved how dog friendly the hotel was but I felt it was pretty run down . The food was fantastic and the location and views from hotel were beautiful. The bed was uncomfortable and small and we felt the room was clean and basic but in need of serious refurbishment.

Basic hotel but with amazing views and setting. Tired looking but comfortable. We travelled with disabled relatives and had requested rooms near each other however this was not honoured and were at opposite sides of a corridor. We had booked as we were told that there was entertainment at this hotel but due to covid this was not possible .Disappointed as some hotels have put a lot of thought into providing safe entertainment sucessfully. Enjoyable stay but wouldn't return.

Hotel staff great, rooms fine, very accommodating, and dog friendly. Only one small thing I would say, is there was a table of 17 that arrived & their dinner was booked for 7pm, because of this food orders for everyone else that wanted to eat in bar or outside was stopped for over half hour, as manager said not enough staff to cope... it wasn't as if this table just walked in on spec, they were pre booked.. therefore more staff should have been on shift.

Great weekend away. Hotel is older but absolutely adequate. Bed and floors are really creaky and not sure how someone above us could walk about for hours in such a small room. Staff doing their best but some really slow. Food was delicious in the bar.

Had a lovely stay in the arrochar hotel, we paid an extra £10 for a front facing room (room 221) and well worth it - the views are amazing. Yes the rooms are a bit tired but they were spotless clean, showers great. Bar staff were really helpful and breakfast was tasty, really good variety. If you want 5 star perhaps not the place for you but not sure you would get a better view - excellent deal.

Hotel nice ,clean & friendly staff .Just a few issues with the room ,we had a view of oil storage containers and outside yard where staff smoked. The bed had no mattress protector and the flat sheet was to small to cover mattress.kept coming uncovered. There was only a small amount of soap in container after we both had a shower when we got there it was empty.

A reasonable stay, but not without some issues,on arrival we knew we were a bit early however approached the receptionist and was told our room was not yet ready,we filled in the appropriate paper work and told we could collect our key at 3pm,so we went and had a drink to pass the time, however at 3pm our room was still not ready again not a problem at about 3.25pm I approached reception where I stood waiting until the two members of staff decided to give me some of their time and one passed me our room key, with no further info in fact I felt I was treated with indifference. This was the 3rd hotel we had stayed in the past 6days in the other 2 we were given an information sheet regarding COVID rules etc in the hotel, requesting towels, etc for the room, breakfast times etc.Received nothing from reception in this hotel. Service from bar and restaurant staff was good,as was the quality of the food at dinner and breakfast. Finally the next morning the shower wouldn’t work, therefore unusable,we reported this to reception on leaving. On checking out in the morning we had a £35.80 overcharge on our bill, the receptionist who checked us out in the morning was polite and apologetic and rectified the error I would add this was a different member of staff from who checked us in.

Just returned from a two night break at the Arrochar hotel. We had a twin room on the ground floor which albeit basic was spacious and lovely and clean and had everything you would require. The best thing was the large picture window looking onto loch long with great views of the cobbler and surrounding mountains. Due to lockdown restrictions we had drinks in our room and enjoyed watching the gannets diving into the loch. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and the food was good especially the king prawn fajitas which were amazing. Breakfast was also of a good standard and offered a nice selection. All in all our trip was really good, the staff were helpful and the food great. We would return

Just returned from a lovely relaxing weekend at the Arrochar Hotel. Check in was quick and easy and we were given room 125 , a Loch facing large room with spectacular views of The Cobbler and Beinn Ime . The bed was comfortable, tea and coffee facilities with yummy biscuits, plenty of hangers in wardrobe, bath with shower, extra large windows with 2 way opening with 3 comfy chairs and a table to make the most of the scenery. Breakfast was a good choice of porridge, cooked and continental, the staff were really friendly but not in your face . We were on a DBB and the dinner was very nice and again the staff were great . Now looking forward to our next trip with myhotelbreak.com .
