Lovely hotel in ideal location. Right on Edinburgh bus route & only 5mins from brunstane train station and 5min walk to portobello beach which is beautiful. Upgraded to club room which was huge & very comfortable. Leisure club spotless & great facilities. Breakfast buffet style with fantastic choice. Staff all extremely pleasant. Only gripe would be meal in restaurant, Sunday night very quiet no ambience and would suggest CD music rather than local radio. Also paper napkins? And no bread roll with dinner? Definitely go back but would choose to eat in bar/lounge which is very comfortable & still wide choice of delicious food with better atmosphere. Well done kings manor

Nice clean room. Breakfast good. Only criticism is we were wakened in early hours by a group of boys running about and knocking on our door. Said to receptionist when checking out and she said she would speak to the person in charge of them.

Stayed for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. Really comfortable rooms and public areas. Both restaurants offered great choice of food. The bus stop right outside the hotel is ideal for a short journey to Princes Street and the tourist highlights. I would certainly return to this hotel and recommend it to anyone

Nice stay. Hotel ideal for public transport into Edinburgh. Club room was clean and well appointed, comfortable bed, nice size flat screen telly on wall. Bathroom was clean and fresh, really liked the idea of the nightlight which saves putting on main lights through the night. Meals were tasty, we preferred the restaurant to the bistro - felt the food was of better quality. Staff were excellent throughout. We will return. Good value for money.

First time that we have stayed at this hotel and after this experience we will certainly be back. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is well situated and easily accessed by car and also has an excellent bus service into Edinburgh City centre right outside the hotel if you don't want the hassle of taking the car into the city centre. We would quite happily recommend this hotel.
