Beautiful hotel set in a lovely location. Reception staff very friendly and attentive. Food service a bit slow however overall very impressive

Enjoyed an overnight at The Western House. Which husband and I enjoyed. The weather was lovely and if it had been wet as can be normal I would have been rather disappointed to have to leave courtyard annexe to have breakfast and dinner at the main building. Room was lovely. Staff excellent nothing was of any bother and were so helpful and pleasant. Grounds and Hotel really lovely, so if staying again would perhaps think of an upgrade to be accommodated in main building. Will definitely consider using Classic Britain again as telephone staff very pleasant.

A beautiful hotel, surrounded by beautiful gardens. We stayed in the main house and the room was lovely, spotlessly clean.staff were friendly and welcoming, will definately return.

Lovely hotel, nice relaxing break, only complaint was that poached eggs had been cooked in lots of vinegar which I don't like

Can only say AB FAB on all counts. Stayed in a Courtyard room, on BB & Dinner on one night basis. Great value with many nice little extras in room. Very pleasant, helpful staff, lovely breakfast (served on hot plates, pet hate of mine to have hot food on cold plates). Dinner was also really good with no restrictions on menu choice, making it extra good value. Stayed with my husband and sister and brother-in-law and we all agreed it was a lovely hotel and would definitely return. Situated at the racecourse but we walked in and out to town so good location also. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, pat on the back to all staff

Booked a last minute DBB deal at The Western House Hotel in Ayr, ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING experience!! Best available room was fabulous, with everything you could want and to top it off the restaurant experience was exemplary. Would definitely recommend it. Unfortunately not available on race days as keen race day atenders this would have been perfect. Thank you.

My husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms, public areas and grounds were all very well presented, the staff friendly and helpful and the meals superb. The hotel is well situated in Ayr too. We hope to return again.

the hotel was great and the staff were very helpful and a polite. The food was excellent I would highly recommend the Western House. the courtyard rooms are obviously a later addition - are modern and clean and seem to be very well serviced every day.

On arrival, we were updated to a deluxe bedroom, which was a very pleasant surprise and the room was first class. Food, service and ambience were all excellent-couldn't fault hotel.

Just stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic time. The rooms are spacious with lots of little extras, spotlessly clean! All the staff were very helpful and friendly and although it was busy with a wedding we were not kept waiting to be served. We decided to have dinner at hotel which ws lovely and plenty of it. Breakfast was lovely too with plenty of choice. Gardens are beautiful and looks right onto Ayr racecourse, this is the place to stay if you're going to the races! Well done to the management and staff for making us visit such a pleasure will certainly return and will recommend to friends.

booked in laws for christmas treat ,first impression room very good and looking forward to well regarded food at night,very disappointed disjointed service and food arrived at table in stages half an hour apart.seemed to be problems that night and received a few drinks as means of apology .many other complaints that night.emailed hotel requesting explanation but again disappointed not to get any reply.lots of good reviews and high food mark main reason for booking,hope this was just a bad night but as a regular classic user felt it was worth reviewing and expressing disappointment at hotel service which appears to usually be well regarded.initially family had been considering using for a special birthday coming up but lack of response to email would certainly make us think twice

This hotel is the best we have ever stayed at,the location was perfect the room we stayed in was amazing me and my husband where very vey pleased to say the least all i said was Wow!!!,i did not want to leave.Our room was in the main part of the hotel and looked right on to the finishing line of the race course.All the staff were very friendly and made you feel at home.Down in the lounge you could just relax sitting in front of the cosy fire. Loved it,would love to go back.The meal and night was delicious and no supplement on top of what we paid,would definately recommend this hotel.
