Second time I used this hotel in May an excellent base as the first visit I booked a night after climbing The Cobbler and returned two weeks later to climb Beinn Ime and Beinn Narnairn clean hotel and friendly staff have recommended and would stay here again.

Hotel and rooms were clean, beds very comfortable however furniture & decor very tired looking and in need of upgrading. Disappointed there was no room service especially in these times. Lovely big beer garden however it should be table service. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was good, Dinner was ok. Would like to bring my Mum because of the views, they are stunning but my Mum is Disabled and it is NOT Wheelchair accessible which is really disappointing in this day. I hope this is rectified soon.

Stayed here for one night for our 35th wedding anniversary. The staff are wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed in a suite with beautiful Loch views and our room was spotless. Had a few drinks sitting in the beer garden which is a lovely addition to the hotel. Dinner was amazing and again the restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Sarah who was so chatty and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and yet again the staff were very nice and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfortable clean rooms and great food with very friendly staff. We had a wonderful time.

I booked this for myself, my husband and a friend (2 separate bedrooms) and was not disappointed. We had passed through Arrochar many times but had never actually stayed here. The rooms were very clean although small. My friend's double room was looking onto a wall, which she was a bit disappointed with, but staying only one night, it wasn't a problem. The food was excellent and everyone adhered to the social distancing and sanitizing. Only slight disappointment was that the radiators were turned up full and these were not able to be turned down. All in all, I would happily recommend this Hotel and would be happy to stay in it again

We stayed with our dog and chose this hotel specifically as it was dog friendly. To have the dog accompany us for dinner, we had to sit at the bar (totally understandable). I asked a staff member if we chose from the normal menu as we were using the myhotelbreak voucher, she advised this was a different menu. On ordering we were told we had to order from original bar menu, I advised we were told different by a colleague. He then explained we be charged via the bar and reception would bill any extra cost outwith the voucher. I had never used myhotelbreak before and was confused by this process. Dinner was lovely and staff were helpful. On checking out there was no extra charge for dinner so I am unsure regarding the menu confusion and perhaps this could be clearer for guests staying with dog in the future.

Stayed at the arrochar hotel on Saturday night on a deal of bnb and a £30 voucher to spend at the hotel. The hotel itself is a little run down but the room we had was clean and the views are really lovely. The only thing that let it down was the mattress was like laying on concrete so had a horrible nights sleep. staff where lovely. Weather was terrible but they have a beer garden with a cover , althougless you’re there first you no chance of a table as only 3 and the same people stayed at tables the whole night which is a bit unfair to other guests . We had dinner in the bar which was nice and breakfast was nice also .

Myself and my husband had a great night here, location is outstanding beautiful views Rooma were basic but what do you expect for the absolutely amazing price. They were clean and beds comfortable. We didnt make it for breakfast the heads were to sore but would definitely go back again.

Lovely stay food amazing staff friendly nothing too much trouble. Pet friendly well lòoked after. Rooms clean all covid guidelines in place. We felt relaxed and refreshed will definitely be back and have recommended this to all family and freinds

Great location with friendly helpful staff. Spacious rooms although ensuite bathrooms small, added bonus is the bath. Food OK with prices on par with other tourist hotspots. Good covid precautions and social distancing.

Beautiful views across the loch and to the Cobbler. We were originally in room 101 but the shower was broken. Just one of those things. Got given the choice of 3 other rooms that had just been renovated on the ground floor. Unfortunately they were all twin rooms, however the staff were lovely when I opted for room three and pushed the beds together. Room 3 has amazing panoramic views and just been refurbished. Just pull back the curtains and enjoy. It's was unfortunate that the " Table d'hote" was not really to my taste but I gave the cod with hollandaise a go anyway. I should have opted for something else on the a la carte/ bar menu. This is totally my personal taste. My husband had the same and enjoyed. I did feel that the staff could have approached as is the norm to check everything was ok with the food. Other than this the staff were helpful, friendly, approachable and eager to please. We tried the new beer garden but couldn't work out how the heating went on and we weren't particularly bothered about sitting outside ( it was cold) so went to our room and had drinks there while watching the sunset over the loch and mountains. Due to current regulations and nothing the staff can do about this there's a bit of a surreal atmosphere. My husband and I are seasoned travellers and usually get chatting to people. Due to covid people tend to be keeping to themselves this is what feels a bit odd. I'd recommend taking a fleecy blanket, camping chairs and enjoy the sunset on the beach. Maybe with a cheeky wee dram. Great value for money. Staff gold stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay hotel staff were friendly, room was great with fantastic view of the loch . The food was amazing have already recommended the hotel to friends and family . We will definitely be back have to try to walk to the cobbler

The staff were very friendly and professional and the food was beautiful both at dinner and breakfast. On the downside the whole hotel apart from the restaurant smelled of wet dog. The rooms are basic and quite dated. On arrival I showed my pre-paid voucher but was told my room hadn't been paid for, only reserved. I told him that we had received it as a gift and it had been bought online and definitely paid for but he insisted we had to pay for the room. This mistake was partly due to the wording on the booking form I had printed off which does say that payment is taken at the hotel. I paid the charge but then contacted my daughter who sent me a screenshot of the payment she had made. When I returned to the desk he had been made aware by another member of staff that the voucher was indeed pre-paid. The money was refunded back to my card.

We had a very enjoyable stay, at the Arrochar Hotel. The rooms may be a little dated, but they're clean and comfortable. The bed was great, we slept very well, and the shower was good with plenty of . Large windows overlooked Loch Long, giving us a splendid view. The hotel's location is excellent. The food was excellent. A very nicely made full breakfast available in the morning, and the food in the restaurant was delicious in the evening. Prices were very reasonable, and the service was quick and friendly. We were very pleasantly surprised by Arrochar Hotel, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Myself and wife had an enjoyable two night stay at the arrochar hotel despite current restrictions in relation to COVID 19. The general cleanliness of the main body of the hotel was good and proper protocols were in place regarding social distancing, hand washing etc. However, our room was very outdated in relation to furniture and old room smell etc and it was rather off putting to find chewing gum stuck to the head board of our bed which was clearly visible on first inspection of the room. Nevertheless, for monies paid for our deal we cannot fault the service, food and staff and would stay here again if the same deal was available.
