Good location. Hotel looking a bit tired but it was clean throughout. Basic room but the shower was useless. Water came out cold and then started on its on later. Good breakfast choices at the buffet. Pleasant enough staff. I would consider going back there again though

Good value for money on a dbb deal , dinner ok , scallops could have been prepared better , leaving the muscle attached that connects to the shell does not make for pleasant eating , the fish although nice and white and fresh had soggy batter on most of it however not the worst I've had .The view from the restaurant was lovely though. . Bar a bit disappointing with a lack of choice and no decent ales although they did have a local Skye Red/black in bottles which was nice but very expensive at £4.25 . Breakfast would have been excellent if it had been warm as food was well cooked and good quality but sadly let down by being cold or Luke warm. So close but needs a bit more attention to detail and would be excellent, staff were friendly and helpful.

Good value for money. Only issue is that twice we have been there we had someone else's drinks/dinner put on our bill. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was also good value.

Just returned from a short break on a dinner, bed and breakfast package. The hotel is pleasant, if in need of a lick of paint here and there. We had a room with a lovely view across the bay. The evening menu was a bit like pub grub but the meals were good. There is a limited wine list but the prices are reasonable and the house wines are good. The cooked breakfast was the biggest let down but I don't really need pasty. Sausages and over cooked eggs to start my day anyway and the rest of the buffet was fine. We had entertainment a couple of nights with an accordion player, who was quite entertaining. The staff were very pleasant. Overall this was great value for money.

Nice hotel , spotlessly clean, lovely staff, rooms a little small but with spectacular views. Would definitely stay again

Our first visit to Skye, the young lady at reception was very pleasant and welcoming which is always a good start. we were initially a bit disappointed with the size of the room, but on reflection we've had worse, the bedroom/en suite shower was adequate for our 3 night stay. There was an issue with service on the first night in the dining room, however it was resolved to our satisfaction without any fuss[thanks Amy], I assume it was a blip as the service thereafter was fine. We saw a number of dinner plates being removed with lots of leftover food, however this was more to do with the portion size as the food was of a good standard. Our room was cleaned each day, towels and toiletries replenished as required. Overall a really pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again on a return visit to the island.

Staff were all polite and friendly , the food was superb a very good chef , you can only get wifi in the lobby area , the view from our room was breath taking , No lift in the building only stairs , not good for disabled people or elderly , one corridor was shut so you had to walk further round to the restaurant , now our room was small the bath had rust on it no heating in the bathroom , not a nice room ,banging from room above , we came home a day early , not nice at all

Visited the Dunollie for a weekend early in November on a voucher offer. Arrived late after a wild drive up through storms from Edinburgh, tired and a little shivery, to be warmly greeted by the night staff and shown to a comfortable clean and spacious room, with the expanse of Broadford bay shimmering in the night. Buffet breakfast was div enough to satisfy even our vegetarian tastes, served in a dining room close by the shore while seals broke the still waters of the bay a mere few yards away. The 3course evening meal was outstanding , do try the pumpkin ravioli, it's perfect, and the cheese and wine to finish were a delight. With the sounds of waves gentley washing the shore outside our bedroom windows I have rarely felt more rested. Excellent!
