My Partner and I stayed 3/4th March,nice hotel,staff very helpful. There was a short walk to shopping outlet,but if you have trouble walking about half an hour.

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Easy parking. Great hot showers. Bedroom linen clean but carpets disgustingly dirty. Make sure you take slippers. . Nice breakfast with decent selection. Dinner menu basic. Food quality poor. Wine awful and very expensive. £15 for two small glasses of cheap Merlot outrageous. Great staff made us very welcome.

Stayed Friday and Saturday. Hotel was very quiet on the Friday we arrived bar and dining area were very cold, rooms were okay. Busier on the Saturday and warmer. The staff were very helpful especially the barman who also served us dinner. Stayed here a few times now always enjoy the hotel.

Hotel was nice, all staff very polite, friendly and helpful. Food was very good. We found our room was a little under the standards for cleanliness…marks over walls, dust and cobwebs and damp.

Staff were lovely and we received a warm welcome. We were upgraded and room had a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath. The decor is tired but it was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely meal and everything we required. Great for a wee stop over and close to Gretna outlet village.

Really enjoyed the break must say the the staff were great, from booking in by Jane to the bar staff and breakfast staff could not have made us more welcome very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable clean towels and top up of tea and coffee tray daily. Easy access to the hotel and plenty of parking, will definitely be back.

A comfortable enough stay but bedroom was cramped and parts of the hotel were tired.

Staff couldn't have been any nicer however the room felt dirty the mattress was broken it actually hurt both me and my partners back to the point we didn't spend a full night's sleep on it ended up having to sleep on the bunk beds. Bathroom was new and clean. Food was overpriced for the quality chips where raw.

What a wonderful overnight we had! From arrival, the lady on check in, right through to check out, the staff were incredible. Room was stunning! Food was excellent. We'll most definitely stay here again!

Stayed one night. Staff pleasant and helpful especially young man in bar who served the evening meal which was good. Room clean and comfortable. Downside was breakfast in morning. Some of full breakfast luke warm. Bacon in morning roll cold and had to be sent back.

A lovely hotel, great food and fabulous service. Paul, Tina and Charlotte were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The reception team were friendly and knowledgeable. The management were friendly too. We look forward to coming back. Great location too.

Room was good, peaceful well away from any potential noise, a lovely jacuzzi bath. Food very acceptable and good value for money. COVID restrictions took away what might have been a cosy atmosphere in the bar. Staff very helpful.

Lovely hotel, staff are super friendly! Great breakfast. Would definitely stay again. We had the spa bath, four poster room which was lovely. The shower was rubbish but with that fabulous bath, not really a problem.

When we were there it was very busy and not enough staff. Food was average. Service at Breakfast on Tuesday morning was a disaster 15 minutes after we went in we got coffee toast then waited for cooked breakfast i asked for poached egg on toast and the wife scrambled egg on toast by the time they came coffee was cold and we only got the eggs no toast with them. The whole thing took 40 mins we went in at 8.20 and out at 9am. Staff run off there feet and no coordination.

Clean room, friendly staff. Evening meal was ok but breakfast could be better with more choice - presumably trying to save costs. Still good value overall.
