Fantastic Overnight Stay My Husband and I booked one nights B&B, at Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Spa. Special offer, priced £99 for April 2024, no weekend supplements. This included, free room upgrade, to a beautiful suite overlooking the golf course. A bottle of Prosecco, placed in an ice bucket with two glasses, left in our room. Also late checkout, until 12 noon. All staff were so friendly and professional. Our breakfast was delicious with a great selection to choose from, continental and cooked. Hope to return in the very near future, at the right price.

We had a wonderful overnight trip. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Dinner was excellent. We also had spa treatments which were the best I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend this hotel and spa.

Lovely hotel . Room looked over the golf course. Huge bed , lovely bathroom. Meal in restaurant was great. Best o are the staff, they go above and beyond to make you so welcome.

We had a very pleasant stay. Room was spacious and clean. All staff were lovely and helpful. Food prices were as expected, food was tasty. We got breakfast in our room as no times available in restaurant, which was lovely. Although the cooked breakfast was abit dry and not enough sugar on the tray or in the room. Used the pool which was warm, the changing room floor was dirty and had lots of water lying in the the changing cubicles. But apart from that it was a lovely stay.

Hotel was excellent room clean good friendly service and nice food. However extremely unhappy that the hotel charged my card on arrival £189.00 - apparently it was for extras which frankly I had already paid as the room charge was £89.00 plus I paid £50.00 for extras, I was advised by receptionist that I would receive any refund straight away ! Well this Monday still no refund

Not what we expected, this hotel could be amazing but it doesn't seem to know what it is! Weather its a 4 star fine dining luxury hotel, or a slightly better than a travel lodge hotel, we had upgraded to a suite and bathroom was good but complimentary cosmetics nearly empty which was strange! Room was larger than the norm but nothing to really make it stand out to warrant the extra or call it suite standard, stains on carpet, only 3 pillows on bed! Dust in the glasses/cups not standard i would have expected, staff very hit and miss girl on check in absolutely lovely than the guy in bar to busy watching football to really want to serve guests! The bar felt more like the local pub! All shouting at the TV screen as football was on so we left after 1 drink bar prices very high! Nearly £12 for 1 pint and a bottle of cider! Restaurant again confusing no table clothes of silverware looks basic to be honest and the guest a real mix! Tracksuits and trainers and smartly dressed, food was good but but portions strange we had roast rib of beef got a big slice of beef then had 4 small roast potatoes 1 small carrot and 2 small pieces of brocoli! The starter haggis bon bons was bigger than the main! All in all a ok stay and the deal we where on made it a ok price, but don't think I would rush back

This is my second stay at Carnoustie Golf Hotel, staff & spa area brilliant. Unfortunately on the first night I had coq au vin and the chicken was very undercooked Very red next to the bone. Staff did take it away and gave a free bottle of wine but the thought I had eaten some made me feel quite upset The rest of the 2 days were lovely, the room had a brilliant view over the golf course but felt a little basic The swimming pool, steam room etc were a treat. Staf welcoming and attentive

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carnoustie. Everything was wonderful - from check in to check out. The staff, food, rooms, spa were all lovely. The added bonus during our time there was that the weather was perfect too ! Fabulous walks and so much to do and see - we”ll certainly be back and thanks again to all concerned for making our holiday so enjoyable.

The staff at this hotel were very welcoming and service overall was excellent. The room had a great view of the golf course, good shower but found mattress and pillows to be poor. Dinner was average and breakfast was good.

Have stayed a few times, every time is excellent, friendly and home like feeling, they accommodate all your needs. Good and choice excellent Public stars are always cleaned, including the leisure area Would highly recommend a visit

Stayed at Carnoustie in February 2024. The room was spacious and very clean. Large, thick towels and good shower in the bathroom with the usual toiletries and tissues provided. Good strong hairdryer with socket surprisingly close to a mirror. Bed not too comfy but really couldn’t fault the room. Food is mediocre but portions are good and breakfast is plentiful. The leisure centre is great but time your pool use carefully as it can be busy with children which will affect those who want swim for exercise. All staff are friendly, helpful and happy to answer any queries. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel with friendly efficient staff. Our room was a good size and had a lovely view of the sea . It was spotless clean as was the rest of the hotel. The spa and leisure facilities were amazing which we made good use of . The food was excellent at dinner and also breakfast . There was an overall good feel in all areas of the hotel which I think came from the nightly motivated and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel and spa . I will definitely stay again .

Had a good stay at this hotel. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was first class. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and were not disappointed. Would definitely stay at this hotel again but if you don't play golf there is not a lot in Carnoustie itself to do

Lovely 2 night break..Ate both nights in the restaurant ..only negative comnent is food could have been hotter..especially the chips with the fish..Had turkey dinner the second night and luckily the gravy was hot ad heated up the rest of the food..
