A nice hotel, friendly staff and great food. Let down by the greed of the management. The prices in the bar are ridiculous, £10 for a shot of Glennfiddich, you can buy a bottle for £25 out of most supermarkets, A beer and a Gin with mixer, £17.00. Unbelievable prices, better to get a taxi back home for a drink, it will be cheaper. I would love to go back to this hotel but I just will not pay prices like that. If you are a multimillionaire I recommend this hotel. If you work for a living, forget it.

Staff very friendly and approachable.food was great went up to room them straight to pool and jacuzzi area Bedroom was a double room quite dusty and a few cobwebs on windows the quilt didn’t fit the bed and there was a hole in the bedsheet . Hairs in bathroom that were not mine or my husbands . I reported these complaints to receptionist on check out had I noticed these on arrival in the room I would’ve requested a change of room .I was told sorry I will bring this to the housekeeping staff attention . £250 for dinner bed and breakfast not the luxurious experience I was hoping for

On arrival my wife and I were allocated a garden room in the basement. The view was of a large stone wall. There is no way this could be classed as a garden room. When we complained we were moved to a 2nd floor room which was fine. A poor start to our break.

Old fashioned hotel with log fires and plenty of comfortable seating in public lounge areas, very relaxing. Beautiful grounds with lots of outdoor seating and paths for walking. Views from the room were stunning and food delicious. Very pleasant staff.

Lovely if dated hotel in a beautiful location. I have to take issue with the hotel claim that "every room has a view". Our room looked onto the roof of the large attached function suite and bin area :-( Room was otherwise nice and clean. Check-in was a miss then a hit. The first receptionist said we were too early to check-in (about 1.45pm), but the other said let me check if you're room is ready. It was, so full marks to her and zero to the other. Food was good and restaurant manager was excellent, very charming. Due to COVID the Spa was closed.

The only disappointment was the room itself, which looked a bit rundown and was at the end of a corridor which changed to a runner on the floor and not fully carpeted like the rest of them. There was a step up to the toilet/shower room and a booster pump which kicked in every time water was used. On the plus side the view was beautiful looking over the front of the Hotel, the food was excellent and although the Hotel was busy the staff ensured excellent and caring service at all times. We had been looking forward to our visit so much it was a pity the room was a bit of a letdown as everything else was first class.

A very pleasant Victorian hotel set in nice grounds. Breakfast was excellent but dinner was slightly underwhelming. On the whole an enjoyable break and a bonus for the solitary traveller no single supplement in a single room.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff are excellent and very helpful. It has great history and the museum is brilliant and gives you a sense of how it all started. My only negative comment as always, is I think when you go on an offer you always get the worst rooms, We required a twin room and it was a double bed split and it was one of the smallest single beds I have slept in!!!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy walking distance to the centre of Pitlochry. Good quality meals and the two nights for one dbb deal was excellent value.

Lovely hotel. Staff amazing and very helpful. Let down by the quality of the food. Dry chicken dish. Uncooked not cooked enough kale Pear pudding that was clearly not cooked enough as it was raw in the middle. Breakfast food not much better as was lukewarm. A Would stay again but bb only and would order from the breakfast menu that's specifically cooked for you. Venison dish was lovely though.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Very attractive and comfortable single room. Pleasant staff at reception, and breakfast. Nice to have at least some of the breakfast items served at table. Room service food arrived quickly and was hot. Again served very pleasantly. Room service food quite expensive and a bit steep to add a £5 surcharge. Would hope to return to the hotel and will definitely recommend to friends.
