We enjoyed our break at the hotel. Staff and food lovely. The only complaint we have is that the floor in our bedroom was so creaky. Every step and I mean every step caused the floor to creak. Hope no-one was in the room below us! Apart from that the room was large and comfortable.

We had a short stay at Fairfield which we would have liked to extend if it had been possible. The staff were welcoming and the room was comfortable and cosy. The restaurant was not as warm as it might have been in the evening but the weather outside was not good at that time. The food was really enjoyable and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast which was served to the table rather than laid out at the side just becoming cold! If cirstances allow, we will definitely come back.

Hotel is in a lovely waterfront location, short walk to town centre. Food was delicious ,very good selection both at breakfast and dinner. They also catered very well for those requiring a gluten free option.

Booked 3 rooms. This hotel needs renovation especially the pool, mini sauna and mini steam room (size of a home setup) changing rooms are very small and tight. Rooms are warm but very dated. Room 38: had a new bathroom buer in all 3 rooms ran on and off in seconds, from freezing to very hot. Room Racing: had a shower over bath whereby the hose blocked the control, so both shower and damaged bath ran at same time. 38 had bed, dressing table, 2 chairs. Racing had bed, dressing table and chairs with table. Room 24: no issues. All very very dated. Food in restaurant and breakfast was good. Staff pleasant and friendly. Scaffolding and work going on outside 38 and Racing, 7.45am guys shouting at each, swearing and calling each other mongols. Disgusting, reception was advised and apologised.

We had a lovely stay at Fairfield house hitel. We chose a very spacious sea view room. Hotel was spotless. Staff very attentive. Great selection of food to choose from and a great variety for the buffet breakfast plus we had a lovely afternoon tea which came with a mini soup and sausage rolls.

As always, a warm welcome from Nicola. Nice room , a bit smaller than we are used to,but warm clean and comfortable.Beautiful bathroom, lovely towels and bed linen. Meals excellent as always. We are always relaxed and comfortable here, a wonderful hotel and lovely staff. Roll on the next visit.

Wasn't the best hotel. Rooms where very outdated and windows were nailed shut so could not open. Swimming pool was freezing cold. Food was lovely but service at dinner was slow, took 1hr and 10mins from clearing our starter plates to getting our main meal. They had also ran out of alot of food and drink (not sure if it was cause it was after new years)

Room was cold. I asked for a new room and we got one, made our stay more pleasant. The health suite was so run down we didn’t use it. The gym looked ok but didn’t use it.

We had a lovely time at the Fairfield. The staff were very friendly and the hotel had a great old world charm about it although tastefully decorated. The food was also of an excellent quality and plentiful.

From the minute you walk into the reception all of the staff could not do enough for you & really make you very welcome. the rooms are a good size with tea & coffee etc and the rest of the hotel is very comfortable and the food was good.

This was the second time I have stayed at the Fairfield, and very happy with the service from all the staff. Cooked breakfast is made to customers wishes and plenty of choice at the breakfast buffett. The hotel is located within an easy walk into town and even better for the low green and beach . Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
