A warm welcome to the award-winning, two AA Rosette Oak Room restaurant at Moor Hall.

We invite you to relax in the fine surroundings and original dining room of Sir Edward Ansell, of Ansell Brewery Fame, who owned Moor Hall in the 1900s.

The Oak Room restaurant offers the perfect combination of modern British food and friendly attentive service. By day it has sweeping views across the Moor Hall golf course, by night there is a cosy and intimate atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxed evening out or a special celebration.

In the Oak Room, the Head Chef uses only the best of fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to create modern British dishes that are cooked with imagination and served with style and the menu is complemented by a great selection of fine wines.

The Terrace, with its fabulous views over the surrounding golf course, is bathed in sunshine throughout the summer and is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy an alfresco drink or a meal.

The Leisure Club boasts extensive facilities to help you relax and work out and the friendly instructors are always on hand to offer professional fitness advice and guidance.

The indoor pool has stunning views of the surrounding parkland and is ideal for swimming yet shallow enough to stand easily. There is plenty of room around the pool to relax and enjoy the views. The spa bath, sauna and steam room are situated around the poolside and are perfect for relaxing.

Overlooking the beautiful grounds and golf course, the newly refurbished gym features new interactive cardio and strength training equipment and a new functional training area.

The leisure facilities are open Monday to Saturday 6.30am to 10pm and Sunday 8pm to 8pm. Please note that the pool and the gym are vacated 30 minutes prior to closing time. Children are allowed to use the indoor pool between 9am and 6pm Monday to Thursday and between 9am and 7pm Friday to Sunday.

The Spa Lounge is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a chat after a class or before a swim.

Whether you're looking to enjoy some pampering, some "me-time" or to catch up with friends on a Spa day or a break, you'll love this traditional country house atmosphere combined with friendly staff and the best of facilities.

Directions to Moor Hall Hotel & Spa in Sutton Coldfield

Travelling by Train
The two nearest train stations to Moor Hall are Four Oaks (2.1 miles) and Sutton Coldfield (2.3 miles) which are on the Redditch/Longbridge to Lichfield line. Travelling by Coach
National Express coaches terminate at Birmingham’s Digbeth Coach Station, a 10–15 minute walk from Birmingham city centre from where you can travel to the hotel by bus (see below) or by train (see above).

Travelling by Bus
The 110 bus departs from Upper Bull Street in Birmingham city centre and takes 35 minutes to reach the Ashfurlong Medical Centre bus stop on Whitehouse Common Road. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the hotel. Cross the crossroads and walk along Weeford Road until you reach Moor Hall Drive. The hotel is then signposted. To plan your journey by bus, visit the Transport Direct website.

Travelling by Bicycle
Local train operators, London Midland, welcome bicycles onboard their off-peak trains free of charge. From Four Oaks station, Moor Hall is a 2.1-mile cycle. Bike racks are located by the hotel’s Leisure Club. For more information about cycle routes in the area, use the mapping tool on the Sustrans website.

Travelling by Car
If using sat nav, please tap in the postcode B75 6LS and then follow the signs for the hotel.

From the South and London: Leave M6 at Junction 3A and follow the A446 Lichfield for 10 miles. Ignore initial signs to Sutton Coldfield. * Then at Bassetts Pole roundabout, take the A453 Sutton Coldfield to the traffic lights. Turn right into Weeford Road and Moor Hall Drive is 150 yards on the left.

From Bristol and South West: M5, M42 to Junction 9. Follow the A446 Lichfield for 5 miles .* From then on, instructions as above.

From Manchester and the North: Leave the M6 at Junction 12. Follow A5 east for approximately 14 miles. At the roundabout take the A38 for Birmingham. Go to the next roundabout. *From then on, instructions as above.

From the M6 Toll: From the North exit at T4 and turn right at the island to join the A38 South towards Birmingham. At the roundabout (Bassett's Pole) turn right onto the A453, signposted Sutton Coldfield. At the traffic lights turn right into Weeford Road and the entrance to Moor Hall Drive is 150 yards on the left. Turn right as you enter the drive.

From the South: exit at T3 and turn right at the roundabout onto the A38, signposted Lichfield. At the roundabout (Bassett's Pole) turn left onto the A453, signposted Sutton Coldfield. At the traffic lights turn right into Weeford Road and the entrance to Moor Hall Drive is 150 yards on the left. Turn right as you enter the drive.
