Directions to Rufflets in St Andrews

Rufflets is located to the West of St Andrews Town Centre, just five minutes drive away, with free parking at the hotel.

By Road
From the North via the Tay Road Bridge

Cross the Tay Road Bridge and stay on the A92 at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout, take the exit for the A914. At the village of St Michaels stay on the through road which becomes the A919. At the small roundabout in Leuchars, take the second exit towards Guardbridge staying on the A919. When you reach the roundabout in Guardbridge take the first exit for the A91 to St Andrews. On leaving Guardbridge take the 1st junction on the right for Strathkinness (next to the Fast & Fresh sandwich bar), which also has a brown tourist attraction sign for Rufflets Hotel. Continue on this road through the village of Strathkinness to the crossroads. Turn left onto the B939 for St Andrews. Rufflets is 1.5 miles along this road on the right.

From the South via the Forth Road Bridge
Cross the Forth Road Bridge on M90. Take exit 2A and follow signs for Glenrothes/Kirkcaldy A92. Go straight on at the next three roundabouts on A92. At the 4th roundabout (25 miles from Forth Road Bridge) take 3rd exit (A914) signposted St Andrews/Cupar. Follow the road through Cupar and then take the A91 to St Andrews. Go straight on at the roundabout at Guardbridge village. On leaving Guardbridge take the 1st junction on the right for Strathkinness (next to the Fast & Fresh sandwich bar) which also has a brown tourist attraction sign for Rufflets Hotel. Continue on this road through the village of Strathkinness to the crossroads. Turn left onto the B939 for St Andrews. Rufflets is 1.5 miles along this road on the right.

By Rail
Leuchars Train Station is just a 10 minute drive away from Rufflets, with regular trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee.

By Air
Fly in from Edinburgh, Glasgow and even Aberdeen Airport, and we can organise a taxi straight to Rufflets.

To give you some idea of distance, Edinburgh Airport is about 55 miles, while Aberdeen and Glasgow Airports are both roughly 80 miles away.

Is the Rufflets St Andrews Pet Friendly?
Yes. We charge an extra £25 per night per dog, with a maximum of two dogs per booking. There are four dog-friendly bedrooms within our external accommodations situated 60 seconds walk from the main hotel building. Dogs are not permitted in any of the other bedrooms so it's always best to book direct with us to ensure that your furry friend can join you. Dogs are permitted in the public areas of the main hotel (excluding the restaurant and Drawing Room), and are most welcome to join if you want to dine in the bar or outside on the terrace.
Does the Rufflets St Andrews have accessible bedrooms?
There are no fully accessible bedrooms at this hotel, however they can offer a choice of bedrooms on the ground floor which are located in external buildings. There is also a choice of 21 rooms with walk in showers. There is no lift access.
