Directions to The Bodmin Jail Hotel in Bodmin, Cornwall

From the M5, The North and South
From M5 at Junction 31, use the left 2 lanes to take the A30 exit to Bodmin/Okehampton. At signs for Bodmin/A389/Liskeard/Lostwithiel/B3268, take the left lane for the A38 slip road. Follow signs for Bodmin town centre and take the slip road off the A30. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Launceston Rd/A38. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Priory Rd/A389. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Turf St/A389 then turn right onto Berrycoombe Rd. The entrance to the hotel is on the right through the walls and opposite the Public Carpark.

From the South West of Cornwall
From the A30, use the left lane to take the A389 slip road to Wadebridge/St Austell/A391. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Truro Rd/A389. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Westheath Ave/A389 and then take the 2nd exit at the next roundabout and stay on Westheath Ave/A389. Continue straight onto Cardell Rd, then turn left onto Berrycoombe Rd. The entrance to the hotel is on the right through the walls and opposite the Public Carpark.

From Plymouth and South Devon
Take the A38/Devon Expressway to Cornwall/Liskeard. At Carminow Cross, take the 2nd exit and stay on A38 following signs for Bodmin. Continue straight onto Priory Rd/A389. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on Priory Rd/A389. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Turf St/A389. Turn right onto Berrycoombe Rd. The entrance to the hotel is on the right through the walls and opposite the Public Carpark.

By Train
Bodmin Parkway is a mainline station for the GWR network with direct trains to and from London, and also for CrossCountry trains from Bristol, Birmingham and stations beyond.

By Bus
Coaches arrive and depart from Dennison Road in Bodmin, which is the nearest Bus Stop to the Jail. This is only a 10 minute walk from the Hotel.

Walking from the Coach Stop:
From the bus stop on Dennison Road, follow the road down to Topps Tiles and the Texaco Garage. Turn right here onto Berrycoombe Road. Then follow this road all the way until you get to the Hotel.

By Air
There are regional flights that arrive at Newquay Airport. Taxis from the airport are available from the Taxi desk located in the terminal building.
