Drawing Room Bar & Lounge
Enjoy the delicious bar menu, Afternoon Tea, and a wide selection of wines, drinks, and cocktails by the cosy fire. This charming space features original paintings by Scottish artists, a stunning mural depicting the local landscape, and an intriguing collection of artefacts gathered by the Spence family over the years — including an impressive display of 140 cheese dishes from around the world.

Bar menu served between Monday and Saturday from 12pm until 5pm with last orders at 4.30pm.

Afternoon Tea
Expect to find delicious and delectable sandwiches, cakes, pastries and a selection of teas and coffees. Something to enjoy with friends or family. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Afternoon Tea in the Conservatory Restaurant is served Monday to Saturday, either 1pm, 1.30pm or 2pm.

Guests can book spa treatments directly, preferably before arriving to avoid any disappointment. Guests can enter the Spa from both outside the hotel and from within via the main reception. Car parking is available on site.

Directions to the Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen

The Marcliffe Hotel and Spa is only 20 minutes by road from Aberdeen Airport, and 10 minutes by road from Aberdeen Rail Station and the city's coach hub. 

By road: From the north
If you are coming into Aberdeen on the Ellon-Aberdeen road you will reach King Street once you cross the River Don bridge. Continue along the full length of King Street and turn right into Union Street. At the last set of traffic lights at the west end of Union Street, turn left onto Holburn Street. At the next set of traffic lights turn right onto Great Western Road and continue on this road through several sets of traffic lights until you are on North Deeside Road (a continuation). Continue through the next set of traffic lights (Springfield Road is on your right and the Water Works on your left). Half a mile further on, there is a large entrance and signs on your right - reading Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.

By road: From the south
If you are travelling north by road through Perth or Dundee you should take the main dual carriageway (A90). Approaching the outskirts of Aberdeen on the A90, you will come to a roundabout at the Bridge of Dee. Continue across the bridge and proceed north straight through the first roundabout on the north of the bridge - following prominent signs for Aberdeen Airport. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Great Western Road and continue along this road to the next set of traffic lights (Springfield Road is on your right, and the Water Works on your left). Half a mile further on, there is a large entrance and sign on your right - reading Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.

From Aberdeen Airport
You will join the A96 Inverness-Aberdeen road – following the signs for Aberdeen 'City Centre'. Turn right onto the A90 sign which is posted Dundee/Perth, and follow the dual carriageway up an incline until you are heading downhill. Turn right onto the A93 at the traffic lights, and continue through the next set of traffic lights (Springfield Road is on your right, and the Water Works on your left). Half a mile further on, there is a large entrance and sign on your right - reading Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.

From Aberdeen Rail Station or Coach Hub
On leaving this transport hub, turn left and proceeds right up Bridge Street. At the traffic lights on the Bridge Street-Union Street junction, turn left continuing west along Union Street to the traffic lights at Holburn Street. Turn left and continue to the next set of traffic lights at the Great Western Road- Holburn Street junction. Turn right and continue through several sets of traffic lights until you are on North Deeside Road (a continuation) .Continue through next set of traffic lights (Springfield Road is on your right and the Water Works on your left). Half a mile further on, there is a large entrance and sign on your right - reading Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.

By road: from the west
Approaching Aberdeen on the A93 along the Lower Dee Valley from Banchory, proceed through the outer suburbs of Peterculter, Milltimber, Bieldside and Cults. When you reach the Cults Hotel (on your left) proceed a further half mile and there is a large entrance and sign on your left - reading Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.
