Toravaig offers nine individually designed, contemporary styled and furnished ensuite bedrooms, all named after Scottish islands and embellished with crisp white bedding and luxury toiletries.
The rooms are decorated in soothing palettes which reflect some of the kaleidoscope of colours to be viewed on Skye’s hillsides, mountains and coasts.
Raasay gazes out over the stunning and ever changing Atlantic waters of the Sound of Sleat. Decorated in aquamarine, cream and black, it has a 5’ bed and ensuite shower.
Berneray also enjoys sea views and features a 5’ bed with large headboard. Its main colour scheme is peaceful olive with a hint of more vibrant mauve.
Colonsay guests can admire similar seascapes, including from a seating area in a bay window. It too has a 5’ bed as well as feature headboard in light copper and nutmeg.
Eriskay looks out over the surrounding hillside. Decorated in warm olive and black tones, it has a 5’ dark wood sleigh feature bed with matching traditional oak furnishings.
Vatersay has an ensuite bath and shower, with a feature headboard in pleasant shades of wine and cream.
Islay is another lovely hillside-facing twin or double room with a large 6’ double or two single beds and an ensuite bath and shower. Its colour scheme is mellow sage and lemon.
Taransary rings the visual changes with shades of cinnamon and mushroom. It has a bath and shower, and 5’ bed.
Oronsay is a rear-facing small double with a 4’6” bed, ensuite shower, and large chequered headboard in colours of russet and copper.
Mingulay is a small double with 5’ bed and an ensuite bath and shower. The designer has chosen to decorate this in Autumn-influenced tones of nutmeg and copper.
Bar & Restaurant

Iona (yet another Scottish island, of course) is intimate, warm and immaculately presented. It’s the perfect place to appreciate expertly cooked food prepared from the finest ingredients which the larders of Skye and its neighbours can yield.
Most of the produce comes from the island’s own hills, gardens, rivers and surrounding seas. On the menu you’ll find choice venison, lamb and seafood, and vegetables and herbs from local gardens. Each dish is individually and meticulously cooked by the team of talented chefs.
