Toravaig House Hotel is a small boutique hotel, part of the Sonas Hotel Collection, three family owned boutique hotels on the Isle of Skye.
Toravaig, is the collection’s Hebridean Gem, nestling on the hillside in a stunning coastal location overlooking the Sound of Sleat, in the South of Skye.

With 9 bedrooms, Toravaig creates an intimate home from home feeling but with the added benefit of luxurious bedrooms, all named after Hebridean Islands.

The rooms are decorated in soothing palettes which reflect some of the kaleidoscope of colours to be viewed on Skye’s hillsides, mountains and coasts.

Location & Directions

Directions to Toravaig House Hotel on Isle of Skye

From the Skye Bridge, continue to Broadford, approx 7 miles. Turn left at the junction on to the A851 (Sleat/Armadale road). Follow this road for 10 miles. Toravaig is situated on the left hand side of the road just after the speed limit begins at Toravaig.

From the Mallaig/Armadale ferry terminal. Drive north on the A851 towards Broadford for 4mls approx. Toravaig is situated on the right hand side of the road.

If you plan to use a Sat Nav to reach the hotel, please take care; sometimes you may be directed to take the Mallaig-to-Armadale ferry when it is not running or after it has finished running for the evening.

Located only 10 minutes from Broadford, Duisdale is well located to explore the many world class attractions of Skye. You can also book activities at Skeabost, the sister hotel near Portree, which has its own 9 hole golf course and fly fishing on the River Snizort.

Torabhaig Distillery which only opened 3 years ago, is a short drive away and well worth a visit to sample one of Scotland’s newest malts.
