Firstly, we applaud the manager and staff for their dedication to keeping the hotel running. One manager one 'new' deputy no chef no barman and virtually no general staff. Good adequate breakfast with options. The hotel must have been magnificent on its heyday and it must be acknowledged that the owners have tried to retain those features in ground floor areas. Sadly that doesn't apply to the bedroom areas. At some time there has been some appalling modifications to increase the number of bedrooms leaving the impression of a cheap run down hotel in some has been seaside resorts. Our twin bed room was a partioned large bedroom overlooking the sea. It was shabby but clean, with barely enough space. Inadequate storage, e.g. wardrobe drawers. The en-suite shower/WC had no shelves to place toiletries etc, and a noisy sliding door that provided no audible privacy. The dividing stud walls were inadequate and provided no real soundproofing. The door latches were noisy. There were a few other negative comments I could make, but I feel this would be unfair because the staff did their best to make up for the negative aspects.

Room had a lovely sea view however needed some tlc.. Bed was very comfy though. Breakfast was nice. Lush location

Had a lovely night, couldn't of been better, very clean, room was nice & roomy, had a great view of the sea from our room. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, staff were friendly. Would stay here again, longer next time :)

From the time we walked in the staff was really friendly and helpful great value for money and the breakfast was spot on very enjoyable stay .
