Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Danum, the hotel is an old building and in places this shows it could do with a bit of updating in the decor. The room we had was good, clean, plenty of room and the staff were all very helpful and friendly from reception to waiting staff. There is a limited menu in the restaurant but what they had was very nice, cooked well and breakfast is made to order. Would recommend

Brilliant staff, thoughtful and attentive. Hotel itself is dated and in need of renovation, and the bathroom was tiny, but, comfortable. We had booked for a late check out (3pm) but were asked to leave by midday, 11am if possible due to the hotel being busy that night and housekeeping being 'one down'. Overall, not bad, bar/restaurant staff really made up for the shortcomings.

Ideally located in centre of Doncaster. Welcoming & friendly staff on arrival. Room basic but clean. Had a great night's sleep. We had a meal in the restaurant, tasty but made all the better with the service we received from the waiter. Excellent breakfast the following morning & benefited from late check out. Highly recommended hotel.

Room wasn't available for check in when we arrived but they did finally offer a drinks voucher because of the delay. The bottomless brunch was disappointing. After an hour we had only been offered one pizza between 4 people. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but I guess you get what you pay for so overall not too bad but could be a lot better.

The hotel is an old building, but with modern room furnishings and appointments. More character than modern ubiquitous hotel rooms, and comfortable. The bar is dead, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a very short walk of the hotel. There is no car parking, which is a downer - parking in the immediate vicinity is limited. Good breakfast, and staff were friendly. Be careful not to get a room at the front on a busy Friday night - you are right in the middle of the nightlife zone, and your sleep could be disturbed by all of the noise outside. I'd stay again, but ask for a quiet room

Stayed only one night. Great hotel. Clean and staff are awesome. I left a jumper and was able to pick it up over a week later with no hassle at all. Recommend to anyone that is wanting to stay in Doncaster! Thanks again guys

Very handy for me as I was travelling from Doncaster Airport the next morning - Staff were very helpful and organised a taxi for me at 5:00 a.m. Room was more than adequate and it was conveniently located
