The collection of 55 individual rooms and suites at the Balmoral Arms has been inspired by the Cairngorms. The perfect Highland hideaway, the refurbished cosy rooms offer a sanctuary after a day of adventure, with organic Scottish amenities from The Highland Soap Company. While the luxurious, stylish suites offer those who want to treat themselves, additional space to plan their adventures. The Balmoral Arms is dog friendly and welcomes well-behaved four-legged family members to the hotel.

Bedrooms
The Balmoral Arms boasts a variety of rooms for you to choose from, selected rooms have en-suite facilities, family rooms, suites and rooms with a relaxing rain shower. Other amenities and additions include Tunnocks tea cakes, freshly ground coffee, speciality teas, toiletries, flat screen TV, free WiFi, a hairdryer, a desk and chair, and free parking nearby.
As well as this, the hotel offers a reduced rate for children aged 3 to 12, and children up to the age of 3 stay for free.
Bar & Restaurant
The restaurant floor has been stripped back to natural wood and this is complemented by the burgundy shade on the walls. The tables are finished off with local slate placemats and crisp white linen napkins.
When the months start to get cooler the hotel lights the roaring log fires in the restaurant to provide that extra glow.
Opening times 6.30pm – 8.30pm (during winter months 1852 restaurant is closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays however 1852 menu is still available in Ghillies Bar)

The breakfast menu provides the choice of either continental or full breakfast options with Scottish favourites such as homemade porridge, Stornoway black pudding, smoked salmon and Finnan haddie.

By Car
From the south on the A93, follow the road into the centre of Ballater and take right onto Victoria Road The Balmoral Arms is located on the left.
From the East follow the A93 into Ballater, driving alongside the River Dee on Tullich Road. At the end of Tullich Road, turn right onto Bridge Street, then take left into Victoria Road, in which the Balmoral Arms hotel sits on the left-hand side.
The nearest car park is 10m from the Balmoral Arms Hotel and is Free to park.
By Train and Bus
The nearest station to The Balmoral Arms is located in Aberdeen, from where local bus services run to Ballater.
