Hall Garth Hotel stands on 70 acres of grounds with bedrooms being located across four different sections of the hotel. Each of the bedrooms has free, fast Wi-Fi and there is plenty of free on-site parking.

During your stay, guests can use the gym and leisure facilities or book a round of golf.

Original House Room
The original house dates back as early as the 15th Century, rooms in this section of the hotel retain many of the original features of the house and are full of character.

Main Hotel Wing
The main hotel wing is an extension of the original and offers comfortable classic hotel bedrooms with all of the amenities you would expect for a relaxing stay.

The Stables Block
The Stables block is located a short stroll from the main reception separate from the main house.

The Millhouse
The Millhouse contains the majority of our suites. These are very popular family rooms again, a short walk from the main hotel. As the name suggests this was once a working Mill.

OSWALD’S RESTAURANT
Oswald’s Restaurant is in the heart of the old house, elegant bay windows afford far-reaching views across the gardens and fairways and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Enjoy a candlelit dinner in the evening or a leisurely breakfast to start your day.

With a relaxing bar and lounge area, Oswald’s is the heart of the house.

The menus are carefully crafted by the Head chef to offer guests an enjoyable dining experience.

THE ORANGERY
Leading off the main dining room, the Orangery is a bright and airy space for breakfast or dinner. A more casual dining space it is perfect for business guests during the week and welcoming for families at the weekends. Serving the same delicious menus as Oswald’s every day.

THE STABLES PUB
Alternatively, for a more relaxed informal atmosphere, the Hall Garth has its own onsite pub! The Stables pub offers traditional homely pub grub with locally sourced produce.

Set in the peaceful parkland of Hall Garth Hotel, the leisure club offers a perfect balance of health and fitness facilities. Loved by members and hotel guests it offers a space to leave the stress of life behind and unwind.

Please note we recommend that hotel guests pre-book use of the leisure club during their stay to guarantee available time slots.

HALL GARTH LEISURE CLUB
The Leisure Club has a fully equipped gym with qualified instructors on hand to assist you with your goals and ensure you get the best results from your fitness program.

A heated 12-metre pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room are very inviting and there is space to relax poolside.

The conservatory relaxation area is a social space as a member you can use to catch up with other members over a coffee or drink and a bite to eat. In summer the club has its own terrace area where you can bask in the sunshine and take in the golf action.

LEISURE FACILITIES
The facilities are perfect for those wishing to maintain a level of fitness but also enjoy a place to unwind and share the company of others.

Hotel guests can enjoy the use of the facilities as part of their stay with us.

Play Golf At Hall Garth Darlington
This superb easy walking mature 9-hole course was constructed in 1992 and was designed to be played as a 9 or 18-hole course.

Set within the 70 acres of parkland is the superb easy walking mature 73 Par course. Constructed as a 9-hole course that can also be played as an 18-hole course. We welcome members and pay-and-play guests and of course, if you are staying with us, definitely bring along your golf clubs.
