The main hall has seven individually designed rooms, all reflecting the historic nature of the building. In the converted Stables adjacent to the main building you will find a further seven rooms in the Mews. These rooms offer contemporary elegance. Each of the five rooms on the ground floor also has their own little terrace and are perfect for ease of access or for guests with dogs.

The Ravenwood Hall restaurant offers guests traditional English cuisine with a modern twist. Dishes are prepared with locally sourced ingredients with the menu changing seasonally. Ravenwood Hall offers three dining options, the formal dining room, the bright and airy Garden Rooms or a less formal dining experience in the cosy bar & lounge.

Ravenwood Hall Hotel boasts 14 bedrooms, each with unique decor that pays homage to the property's charm and age. The main hall features seven individually crafted rooms, all echoing the historical essence of the 3 star county house hotel. Featuring antique furnishings and luxurious bathrooms, these rooms provide a delightful retreat for relaxation.

Situated in the converted Stables adjacent to the main building, you'll discover an additional seven rooms in the Mews. These rooms exude contemporary elegance. Each of the five ground-floor rooms boasts its own quaint terrace, ideal for easy access or guests travelling with pets. 

The Saxon Room
If you would like to experience elegant comfort, The Saxon Room is for you. This is our famous honeymoon suite; perfect for a special romantic retreat. The four poster canopied bed sets the scene whilst the beautiful bathroom, with a luxurious standalone roll-top bath is perfect for a long and relaxing soak, there is also a separate shower.

Oak Room
A grand designed room which proves extremely popular. It is a bright corner room offering the best views from the Hall overlooking lawns to the front and side. This is a special room featuring original Tudor oak panelling being very much in keeping with the historic surroundings with heavy drapes around the bed and wonderful colours to suit.

St Edmunds Room
A beautifully spacious and romantic room with traditional décor. Light and airy, it has a balcony overlooking the lawns allowing you to enjoy the outside from within your own space. You will also enjoy the truly luxurious and elegant bathroom with separate shower.

Abbey Room
A traditional room with our famous ‘Princess and the Pea’ bed, a high bed that visitors just love. We even provide an antique stepping stool for those who have difficulty climbing into bed! The Abbey Room also has wonderful views over the garden.

Deans Room
The Dean's Room is spacious and light and can accommodate twin or double accommodation and additional beds if needed. A truly traditional design with the added benefit of lovely views over the gardens.

Magna Carta Room
A compact and highly comfortable room perfect for business visitors. With traditional décor and wonderful panelling around the bed.

Rookery Room
A hugely elegant room, The Rookery displays a truly traditional English design with colours to match. This is a light room with a private balcony overlooking the lawns.

The food can be described as traditional English with a modern twist. The menus are changed regularly according to the season and availability of locally sourced fresh ingredients.

All our menus are perfectly complemented by our expert wine list featuring both easy-drinking wines and fine wines.

Relax in our comfortable lounge by our fireplace in Autumn and Winter or, in Summer, in our beautiful gardens, and enjoy the shade of grapevine-covered patio overlooking the swimming pool.

We are currently serving our Afternoon Teas on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 3pm-5pm. We also offer a takeaway option. Bookings only, with pre-payment required at booking.

Ravenwood Hall is nestled in the Suffolk countryside just outside historic Bury St Edmunds and midway between Norwich, Cambridge, Ipswich and Colchester.

By Car:
From the A14 from the East: If you're coming from the direction of Ipswich or Felixstowe, you'll want to take Exit 45 toward Rougham/Bury St Edmunds (A1088).

From the West: If you're coming from the direction of Cambridge or Newmarket, take Exit 43 toward Bury St Edmunds Central (A134).
Follow Signs to Bury St Edmunds: Regardless of the direction you're coming from, after exiting the A14, follow signs towards Bury St Edmunds.
Towards the Hotel: Once you're in Bury St Edmunds, follow signs to Ravenwood Hall Hotel. You may need to consult a GPS or map app for more precise directions from your specific starting point within Bury St Edmunds.

Ravenwood Hall Dog Policy??
Well-behaved four-legged friends are welcome at Ravenwood Hall. Our dog-friendly rooms are located in the Mews at an extra charge of £15 per dog per night (max 2 dogs per room).?

Dogs are welcome in the general areas of the hotel to relax by the fire in the lounge but for the comfort of other dining guests, dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.
