The rooms were new and clean, the good was fab, the service was somewhat haphazard with what we’re clearly a lot of new staff

Easthampstead park has friendly helpful and committed staff, and impressive grounds. The food quality is really good. As other reviewers have said it is in need of renovation but in advance of that and at the current price point you can't beat it for value locally and certainly not at the major chains. The atmosphere is quirky because you can tell its history as a group we liked that and the fact that it doesn't pretend to be something it isn't prior to the refurbishment

Staff excellent girl on reception who was very welcoming and friendly to the barman who was extremely polite and gave excellent service.

What a stunning building with bags of potential. Lauren and the team you made our stay with so many little touches. We knew when we booked that the hotel was about to undergo refurbishment and was going to be dated. That being said the room we had was lovely and the bathroom was spotless and much better than a lot hotel bathrooms I’ve seen. Breakfast was brilliant and our evening meal was good too. We were a group of 9 and enjoyed the hospitality A group check in facility made things run smoothly and the fruit I was able to take up to my room for a pre run breakfast was a lovely touch. Can’t wait to see how the hotel evolves with the refurb, we will be back again.
