This hotel is just down the road from us we stayed for one night with a wedding party Room was on the first floor nice and clean with a large comfy bed tea and coffee making facilities in Room and TV breakfast was superb good quality bacon and sausage hotel also has a bar I fully recommend the ivy bush and will stay here again

We have made several overnight stays at this hotel when we have been visiting friends and family in this my home town. As always the check in was easy. Reception staff made us feel very welcome. The beauty of this hotel is its very central location and ample car parking which the stay very relaxing. We had a standard double room. Whilst the decor is a little dated it was very clean and tidy with an enormous and very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were ample. Our deal included breakfast. Plenty of choice all round and the food was excellent. Again the staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall this was excellent value for money. We will no doubt stay there again.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Decor a little dated - shabby chic would be a good description - but looking beyond that it is spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money which included a rather tasty buffet breakfast . The hotel offers free parking which is an added bonus. Would definitely recommend

We have stayed at the hotel a number of times. Rooms vary in standards, however all are clean. Staff are friendly and make an effort to get to know you. We have stayed for evening meals and the Christmas party in the past. The food was very good. The hotel has a perfect location in the town with a large carpark, ideal for shopping before you leave.
