Imperial Hotel, Exmouth

Breakfast stood out as the worse thing. 25mins to fry 2 eggs over done by which time everything else was cold. waited for food items, waited for plates, shambles is kind. Dinner , starter good, main poor, desert ok. Room was clean if dated. On arrival ordered a Bloody Mary bar staff couldn't cope so ended up with 2 ciders. Very good location. £6 per day to park ... why ? Come again no , Exmouth yes.

Really enjoyed stay at the Hotel. Staff, Food and service excellent. Does need updating but that did not affect our stay.

Hotel a little tired in places but clean and tidy. Service good and staff friendly. Breakfast plentiful but little choice. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel needs updating, and a propper front entrance would be appropriate instead of having to struggle up several steps from the car park! Although we did have a sea facing room with fab view, it was smal, and again, needed an update. The bed was uncomfortable and the springs creaked. On a possitive note, the food was very good, especially the breakfast. The bar area was also very pleasant, with nice outlook, only to be spoiled however, by constant radio chanel playing. The staff were courteous, but lacking in information. Overall, sad to say, a disappointing stay.

Lovely location, all areas of the hotel were fresh and clean, upholstery etc looked newly refurbished. Staff were friendly. Our only “complaint “ was the fact that the security lock was broken on the patio doors of our garden room and as this was the only ventilation, we had to keep it shut at night which wasn’t ideal as it was hot. The hotel was in a superb location and we would definitely return.

Had to wait to 4 to check in, room wasn't ready. Room was in need of a good clean and needs to be refurbished. Parts of hotel was in a poor state. Food in evening was poor. Location brilliant Terrace area was lovely with good views.

Superb room with view over the estuary. Worth it just for room and view. Lounge and staff excellent, lovely restaurant and food excellent value. All staff friendly and attentive.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was excellent - good choice and top quality items. The location of the hotel is excellent - only two or three minutes from the seafront and about the same to the town centre.

This hotel is in a great location,it's a bit tired inside but our room with a sea view was lovely. The breakfast was not at all impressive. Food quite cold no orange juice available. The breakfast stopped us trying any meals at the hotel.

Location is fantastic, minutes walk to the sea and the centre of the town. The room was comfortable and quite large. Big carpark with great surface.
